About this listen

"Settle in with your favorite cup of cocoa and a warm blanket for this swoony holiday romance that includes a peppermint festival and characters that are sure to warm your heart this Christmas."

Deals require negotiations, but for Cole Stevens, this could be the riskiest deal of his lifetime. Holland Jenkins has been disappointed so often that she questions her purpose and her talent as an artist. The cabins she helps lease for her family is the one constant in her life. Birch Falls' small-town peppermint festival is quickly approaching. As Holland is preparing ornaments for her booth, she's in search of inspiration, even if she won't admit it.
Cole has a deal to close, and after a little unexpected change in route, he decides to rent a cabin at Mistletoe Ridge. Cole finds himself falling for the charming small town, and also falling for Holland, which wasn't part of the plan.
Holland doesn't know about her grandparents' plans to sell Mistletoe Ridge, and although they think they are doing it for the right reasons, keeping it a secret has all involved reconsidering.
Perhaps, a dash of ginger, a sprinkle of sugar, and a little magic can make their Christmas wishes come true.
Includes a recipe for Chicken Parmesan. Please note that this book has had very minimal changes since release in audio that you may notice if you follow along with a visual copy.

Really invokes that holiday feeling!

Classic holiday romance, but not cliché at all! Great romance and lots of Christmas spirit. I recommend listening by the fireplace with a cup of hot chocolate — with marshmallows!

Mistletoe Magic -I'm in Love!

This story is not only perfect for a pick me up, but honestly could be enjoyed all winter long! I loved Sassy, Holland, Cole, & every other character in this heartwarming story. It touches on so many strings of the heart. Brimming with romance that's kept sweet, it's got it all. Love, laughter, friendship, a fundraiser, & small town feels that are perfect for the season. Joanne Wilson did a great job narrating this story, including her occasional giggles that made me feel the characters even more.

Charming Christmas story

Christmas at Mistletoe Ridge is a charming Christmas story. I thoroughly enjoyed the small town atmosphere. Cole and Holland have a lot of chemistry between them, add in Sassy the dog and you have the perfect romance.
The narrator does a wonderful job of bringing each character to life.

A wonderful holiday listen!

This is just a delicious little holiday listen! The story couldn’t be any sweeter if they tried. The Peppermint Festival is great plus the different things the town does leading up to it is fun. I loved it. The characters are good. But the town folk and their stories really sell the story. I liked Cole. He was resistive at first to participating with Holland but the more he did the better he loved the town. Holland is a good complex character. Her love of family and risk of failure are what Keep her at Mistletoe Ridge.

Overall this is good, enjoyable holiday story. I did listen to this on audio. Joanne Wilson is a narrator I haven’t listened to before. She did a good job.
