awesome audiobook
Julie and Will
Julie, human goes to stay with her best friend Stacy gor the holidays. She misses her daughter who's over seas at this time. She meets Will, Stacy's brother-in-law . When she learns that Will is a shifter, she struggles with the fact. Will has trouble from his past as he who's Julie. Another clan of bears are out for revenge for something that happened when he was young and bearly an adult. This makes things between then even more strained.
Love all the wonderful characters and fated mate story with plenty of steam, drama, danger, and happily-ever-mated.
The audiobook is narrated by D. C. Cole. He does such a wonderful job with the narration as I've come to expect from listening to his other narrations of Meg Ripley's books.

A good Christmas Shifter listen.
Translated good to an audiobook. I think that this was a good story with Will going from bad- boy in the previous story his character was in to good guy. He's grown and made amends for past trouble he caused. He now he gets to try for his HEA.

Will and Julie
I enjoyed listening to Christmas Midlife Mate, which is part of the Shifter Nation: Destined Over Forty series. It introduces us to Will and Julie, she's forty-five years old and works as a software analyst, and he is a shifter black bear who works as a commercial fisherman. They met when Julie was visiting her friend Stacey and her family for the holidays. Dylan, Stacey’s husband, has a twin brother who turns out to be Will
There is an instant attraction between Julie and Will which neither can deny, their story is packed full of emotion, love and chemistry as well as action. I enjoyed the narration by D.C. Cole

Fated
Julie spends Christmas with her best friend Stacey little did she know she would find her mate. Let alone know what a mate was. Dylan is rugged bear who lives by the sea. He doesn’t plan on finding a mate anytime sure. But when he sees Julie love may be in his favor. It was a nice short romance that I highly enjoyed.

Love at Christmas
I loved this story of a shifter and a human who fall in love. The characters are so well written that I can easily visualize the story. I love the chemistry between the main characters and the happy ever after. This story is full of romance and love.

Sexy Santa
Julie is visiting her friend Stacey for the holidays so she’s not alone. She was just trying to get away she never dreamed she’d meet him. Wimanueverme visiting his family. He doesn’t do it often enough but he’s here this year to celebrate.
These two are hot from the start but Will knows there’s more at stake as he’s found his mate. A mate who doesn’t know what he is. Just as he thinks he’s won her his past comes back. Can Will prove to Julie that he’s her man?
This is another great couple in the Brigham family. They bring out the best in each other and I love watching them both manuever through trying to find their HEA.

Unexpected surprise
Julie is looking to celebrate the holidays with her best friend what she wasn’t looking for was to find a guy that’s more than what she sees. The moment of panic has her pushing Will away. But she has an enlightening moment where she opens herself up.

Christmas Midlife Mate
This is a slightly angsty, relatable and enjoyable story in the Destined Over Forty series from Meg Ripley. I think the stories in this vein are pretty formulaic, but good and this was no exception.

Good Christmas Shifter Story
Meg Ripley has written another fine shifter story with this Christmas addition. I have not read many of her Shifter Over 40 books, but I like that she does a good job of catching the reader up on previous stories and characters in the series. D. C. Cole's narration, as always, brings a fun addition to the listening pleasure. This audiobook kept my attention from start to finish.
