Virtual voice

Let me start by saying I have read the first three books in this series and one other book performed by virtual voice. The only thing that detracts from what was four excellent books was the fact they were performed by virtual voice. While I was surprised by how well the virtual voice did it was in no way as good as an actor or even the average person could do. A lot of the words spoken were pronounced wrong and in some cases just spelled out. In the middle of a action scene to have words spelled out or pronounced incorrectly takes the listener a moment to get reinvested in the story. When I read or listen to a book I watch a movie in my mind. And to have a disruption such as spelling out words, or mispronouncing words, might as well be a commercial break in the movie. Ruining what would otherwise be an excellent adventure.
