Publisher's summary

Book 1 in the Redemption series ~ a stand-alone novel

By the age of 30, I had suffered more tragedies in my life than anyone should ever have to experience. Because of those tragedies, I lived in a world of darkness and despair. Even though I ran and owned a multi-billion-dollar enterprise that I saved from bankruptcy, had more money than I could spend, and lived in a high-rise penthouse on Fifth Avenue, my life was still desolate and empty. I closed off my heart and myself to everyone. Anger had become my best friend and I’d never let anyone get close to me again.

This was my life until a woman named Zoey Benson crossed my path. For the first time in over five years, I felt something. A feeling that I had long buried deep inside me. A feeling I never wanted to experience again. She wanted to be my savior and I sure as hell didn’t want to be saved.

Carter Grayson is a stand-alone novel told in two different POVs.

Loved it!

I never write these. I always just leave a star review, but this one deserved it! I felt and lived every emotion under the sun along with the characters in this book. It’s really hard for an author to do that for me. So, I just wanted to say Thanks to Sandi Lynn for that. You have a gift. Please continue to share it.

Amazing Story

Wow! This book blew me away with so many emotions. Most of the book I thought Carter was a jerk but I also saw his pain shining through with all his anger and hate. Then you have strong and beautiful Zoey who puts up with him and even tries to help him. I loved how the push and pull with both characters felt so real. They both showed so much emotion while dealing with their past and present. Nora was such a sweet soul and she really pulled the whole story together for me. Great story, amazing characters and an incredible author. I loved the narration and it really brought the story to life.

First time reader of this author

The story was interesting. It does have some paranormal aspects which in a way are partnof the foundation of the story.

Carter is broken under the weight of so much pain and sorrow. Zoey has special skills that allow her to be a great hospice nurse. In this story it is more about healing the living than dealing with the dying.

Some things come to light that bring this story full circle. All is revealed with time and makes you wonder - DOES everything happen for a reason?

"Nobody can go back and start from the beginning"

Carter Grayson is the biggest jerk! He has encountered so much hate and pain and he has just became cold. It took me a little bit to warm up to the love storyline in this book due to the way Carter was treating Zoey but it eventually grew on me. I really liked Zoey, she was sweet and she has a heart of gold. There was a lot of different touches in the story that I enjoyed. Overall a quick enjoyable story!

Good story

The story was enjoyable and interesting. However at times the narrators inflection was boring and made me want to quit listening. I’m not sure if it was how it was written or how it was read but it needs improving.

I love how Sandi Lynn can take a real life scenario I turned it into a wonderful story.
Many people go through tradgies during their lives and some are given a special light that helps them through it. some people if their lucky they embrace it.
