Comical...

The political content of this book is almost comical here 23 years after being written. Meant to portray the extreme right wing groups that were even prevalent back then, it only proves to be extreme on the opposite end. I’m sorry, there’s no amount of arguing you can do to convince me that Captain America is “a liberal” lol. I’m not saying he’s right wing blah blah... but come on. Neither party has anything to offer anyone. Real Americans don’t choose parties.

Overall, the book wasn’t bad for a marvel book. I struggle with the fact that all of these books are omniscient narration, inside the heads of every character on the page instead of giving us the POV of a specific character.

The end was tremendously contrived. Very conveniently wrapped up and magical in nature. Not really a book I would ever recommend to anyone.

Not for the MAGA kids

Interesting how detailed and played out the bigoted philosophy of the domestic terrorist organization was so long ago, and reflective of a current plague on our nation.

I won't spoil it but the ending completely undermined any of the tension built the whole time.

Love the book but not the reader

He is not terrible but I would have enjoyed the book much better if it was someone speaking without the southern accent.
