Absolutely saved my sanity!!

Despite all the problems that come with managing success, a loss is undoubtedly the most devastating by far. Loss always brings with it pain, grief, and anxiety that come with it. The narration is very good.

so important to know

My husband lost his mom when he was thirteen and he's still dealing with the trauma almost forty years after. All I can say is "thank you" for this book that has so many truths about what it is like to lose a parent. So important to know these truths and where/how to get help.

Great Consolation

I recently lost my grandmother. My family was there and we went through the hard times together so I did not really realize what I was going through. Reading this book made me understand that the sadness or pain caused by losing her is still inside me. This book shows me what I have to do to recover from that loss.

Come to think about it, this was not my first time losing someone or something I really loved. I have lost my career before, lost lots of friends, opportunities, and times that could be spent with my loved ones. This book helped me start moving on from the past losses that I did not even realize that were still hurting me.

I strongly recommend that you go through this audiobook and find comfort for yourself. I really appreciate the author for this great book.

Great Book for Those Grieving!

I know some individuals who have experienced this type of grief and can benefit greatly from the practical guidance in this book. This book does a great job of thoughtfully discussing such a hard topic as this one. It's clear the author has the knowledge and understanding of what people facing this type of grief go through.

Chapter 6 gives incredible and invaluable insight into how individuals can make the most of their memories with their loved ones. This book helps you understand the meaning behind anticipatory grief and goes a step further to give you the tools/resources to handle it correctly! If you've lost someone, I highly recommend you start with this book!

Well-written. Enjoyed listening.

I am not the demographic for this book but I enjoyed the flow of the writing. The narrator did a great job. Her voice suited the topic of the book. Informative. Educational. Hopeful.

Very Useful!

My Mom suffered so much. She had stage 4 stomach cancer. Three weeks before she passed away my Mom broke her hip. They operated on and repaired her hip. Her surgeon told her she would only live a few more weeks. My Mom's last weeks were very painful for her. She couldn't swallow anything, and with 17 staples in her hip, she could not move. Thank you for helping me understand my emotions.

I liked but it wasn't really for me I guess for it was too soon to hear it . I just lost my father days ago and well I'm still angry. I lost my mother 7 years ago and this is far worse I was daddy little girl. this will be helpful to most who are ready for it but for I'm as of now I will be keeping it and giving it another go later.
