Publisher's summary

He is exactly the kind of man Brie Honeyweather swore never to love...or lust after ever again: a sexy, arrogant, British bad boy in a designer suit. Alec is the last person Brie wants to be stuck on an international flight to London with, but hey...at least they’re in first class.

When their flight has to make an emergency landing in a snowstorm just before Christmas, Brie and Alec are thrown together in a single bedroom in a tiny English village. As the snowstorm rages outside, things get intense and emotions and lust run hot. Alec reminds Brie just how much she misses being with a man and how easy it is to fall head over heels too fast.

What should have been an amazing one-night stand turns into a week-long secret romance at Alec’s family estate when Brie realizes her new boss is Alec’s mother, a British countess. While Brie tries to focus on writing a Christmas book with the countess, all she can think about is getting back into bed with Alec.

She shouldn’t fall for the arrogant Brit, especially when their lives are oceans apart and neither of them wants a serious relationship. But Christmas magic has a way of working miracles. Maybe Santa will bring her a happy ending after all....

Every girl loves a bad boy.

Every girl loves a bad boy. Smith brings on the temptation while taking aim at the heart. Brie and Alec are fire and ice. Their brand fiery heat sends a chill right though your bones. British Black Sheep is the best kind of heartache. The one that your heart refuses to acknowledge, until it's almost too late.

I really enjoyed

This story . The narrators were great. However, the one thing that got to me was since it was based around Christmas why would Simon and Bridgette leave the twins with his parents but bring Brendan along. This book kept saying how family is important yet the Arthur split up a family in the story. I know that wasn’t the story but it really bugged me!

How exactly was he the black sheep?

There was nothing wrong with this book, but it was a very by-the-numbers vanilla listen. The whole black sheep thing confuses me, because his entire family adores and supports him. The only cocky thing about him is his mildly lippy meetcute on the plane ride. The only conflict is their silly insistence that their work lives won’t support a relationship. Otherwise, he’s a perfect, considerate gentleman who looks at her a lot with “his hazel eyes” and she’s the perfect, adorable lady and they have perfect sex. Yawn.

Oh, and there’s a puppy, lots of schmaltzy talk about all the wonderful folks in Alec’s family tree and their idealized romances and how much they appreciated life and were great people. Again, yawn.
