Help yourself heal
We've all been through breakups that we did not think we would live through. They are heartbreaking and disrupt your entire life. Sometimes it takes us awhile to pull ourselves back together and sometimes we're never really the same. I appreciated that this book did not try to sugarcoat a bad breakup. The author understands the pain and heartache that we are going through and wants to help us heal a little quicker and in healthier ways. She dives into actual methods that you can easily implement and help to take the steps forward to begin healing and even improve yourself. I am not currently going through a breakup but I feel it is coming. I realize that while my relationship has ended, that doesn't mean that my world has to stop and it doesn't mean I am all the negative things I have told myself in the past.
