About this listen

Something old, something new, someone borrowed out of the blue...this is getting ridiculous.

It’s the wedding of the year in DC and the bride and groom have eloped. The father of the groom is a powerful senator who is set to announce his run for the presidency of the United States in front of all of the VIP guests and he’s not about to let a minor problem like a missing bride and groom ruin it. With a tempting offer of a fat check and a set of dream jobs, he asks Zoe to step in last minute and pretend to be the bride.

With her catering business teetering on the edge of devastation, Zoe can't afford to say no, even though her stand-in groom is the arrogant, pompous, and frustratingly attractive twin brother of the groom, Luke Whitfield. Ugh.

Zoe and Luke are trying to play newlywed happy, but they already look ready for a divorce. It’s hate at first sight, but as the night progresses through wild first dances, awkward kisses on full display, and a humiliating experience with the president, the pretend feelings start to get dangerously close to real.

Borrowed Bride is a laugh-out-loud, enemies-to-lovers, fake engagement/fake wedding, full-length stand-alone romantic comedy with a HEA. Perfect for fans of Christina Lauren, Ali Hazelwood, and Sally Thorne!

I laughed and laughed

I really enjoyed the crazy bunch of characters in this book. I laughed so hard that I put myself in quite a coughing spree. It was just a fun, crazy, embarrassing and wildly entertaining family full of disfunction and love. I love the HEA story, keep them coming.

Good wholesome read

Great book until the end where it just fast forwards and leaves so much out. It’s HEA and a clean read but I wanted more.

Borrowed Bride

Borrowed Bride by Noah Hardy is a good, and enjoyable fake engagement enemies to lovers romantic comedy read. The story has a great entertaining world building story line. The characters are great, witty, humorous dialogue, and they have great chemistry. This story is a very entertaining funny emotional romantic comedy read. The audio was really great that made it very easy to get lost in the read. I received an advance review copy for free, and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Luke and Zoe

Loved it! At some points I could not prevent myself from laughing. The is a look into many families, and the complexities. Luke (badboy) and Carter (the good son) are identical twins. Carter is supposed to get married to Taliah in aa big splashy socialite wedding. Due to unforeseen actions and family pressure, Luke and Zoe end up married instead. Turns out Luke is a real sweetheart. I thoroughly enjoyed the story from start to finish. The story was well developed. The characters are relatable and definitely have their own personalities. I did not want the story to end! The narration was excellent! I received a free copy of this audiobook and am voluntarily leaving my review.

Borrowed Bride!

This is such a fun and entertaining story with some real lough out load moments. The story is about Zoe, Luke and a fake to more. Zoe is catering a large wedding for the son of a senator who plans to announce his future plans at the event. Zoe is instrumental on the bride and groom fleeing and eloping. Now the grooms parents want her to stand up with Luke, the grooms twin brother, and walk down the isle in a fake marriage. The is so entertaining and bit unrealistic with very witty dialogue. I loved the insane ride. I actually listened to the story and thought the narrator did a good job brining the characters and their story to life.

Cute

I felt like the resolution to the problem had an unrealistic conclusion. Glad it was a HEA, but ended kind of quickly. Cute story, but just ok for me.

It was beyond expectations!

I saw this as an ad on Facebook. Took a chance and listened to and LOVED IT. It does have one NSFW scene that I had to skip near the end but other than than it was great. What I liked about it that other reviews did not touch on was that the book actually has a little bit of depth to it. It is a cupcake comedy love story that is pretty formulaic and very funny but it also has a lot of undertones to it. I was a little disappointed it didn't go deeper but you never buy these books expecting them to. The fact it goes as much as it does was surprising and lovely.

It’s All About The Wedding

I liked this story. It was fun to read. I was shocked that almost the entire book took place at the wedding. That made it different from all the other fake wedding books I’ve read. The narrator, Meg Silvan, did a fantastic job on her performance. She was the reason I liked this story as much as I did. There were a lot of characters and she was able to do every one different enough that I could tell them all apart as she read. This book was an easy, fun listen.
