The Book of Romans is the sixth book in the New Testament. Biblical scholars agree that it was composed by the Apostle Paul to explain that salvation is offered through the gospel of Jesus Christ. It is by far the longest of Paul's epistles, and is considered his most important theological legacy.

The Book of Galatians is a letter from Paul of Tarsus to a number of early Christian communities that he had founded in the Roman province of Galatia. The Book of Matthew is the first book of the New Testament and depicts the birth, ministry, death, and resurrection of Jesus of Nazareth. The narrative tells how Jesus left his profession at a middle age and gathered an inner circle of disciples, commissioning them to teach throughout the world. It also describes Jesus' rejection from the tribal government and his execution under Roman jurisdiction. It is said to have the fullest and most systematic account of the life and teachings of Jesus.

The Book of Hebrews is an inspirational letter to Christians, exalting God and showing Jesus' role as mediator between God and humanity. It includes such famous passages as Hebrews 11, a powerful message on faith throughout the ages. This epistle exhorts Christians to persevere in the face of persecution and not revert to their old ways despite of it.

The Book of Luke is the third book of the New Testament and is the longest of the four Gospels. It details Jesus of Nazareth's story from his birth to his ascension and is the only book that contains certain popular parables, such as the Prodigal Son and the Good Samaritan. This account has a special emphasis on prayer and also presents the humanity of Jesus, featuring his compassion for the weak, the suffering, and the outcast.

The Book of John is the fourth book of the Bible and the last of the Gospels. It is an account of the public ministry of Jesus as well as his death, burial, Resurrection, and post-Resurrection appearances. This book portrays Jesus as the son of God rather than a perfect man and focuses largely on his miracles.
