About this listen

Logan MacKay's sexy Scottish accent can drop panties on both sides of the pond. But he's a shy tech-savvy introvert. Complicated.

Logan's confident and flirtatious hiding behind his phone, but gloomy and withdrawn in the flesh. And that compelling stranger he laughs with on the phone? Mary? It's me. But to Logan, I'm Faith. The vivacious cheerleader who sheds unwelcome light on his dark and debilitating anxiety when exposed to beautiful women.

And I don't want a relationship with him. No. Damn. Way. I just want to help him get past his ridiculous and unfounded beliefs about the opposite sex. You see, Logan MacKay has scars. Physical and emotional marks that he thinks make him undesirable. But he's not. Not by a long shot.

Damaged people like Logan inspired me to enter the mental health field. He's one reason I'm studying to become a psychologist. With my eternal optimism I can fix Logan. I know I can. If only he would stop scowling at me and say yes to my brilliant idea of taking me in as his roommate.

Contains mature themes.

fantastic!

Noelle Bridges is a fantastic narrator, she's why I initially listened but it was a great story full of emotion and two damaged people learning to find love. it was realistic, interesting, and funny. really enjoyed listening listening to their journey. both narrators did great even with the accents which can be challenging for some.

Drama!

Both MC’s have had passed drama in their life that they were dealing with throughout the whole book. I would classify this book as dark. I would also warn readers of a rape scene that could trigger some listeners. The story doesn’t conclude until the last 30 to 45 minutes. It a long haul to get to the end. Also, this is a romance book but with no smut or hot sex.

best male protagonist

this character, Logan, is by far one of my favorite male romantic protagonists in a romance novel. he's complicated, and interesting in a dark sort of way, but not aggressive or dominant like many male romantic characters are.

Oh, The Scottish Bragh

The storyline was unique and interesting; set up perfectly for the next book in series. The narrators did a great job with characters. Looking forward to hearing about Adam!
