Acerca de esta escucha

A long weekend in the Poconos is cut short when Sherlock and Savich are helicoptered back to Washington to lead the investigation into the brutal murder of a Supreme Court Justice.

Savich allows Callie Markham, an investigative reporter for The Washington Post, to partner with local Metro Police liaison Ben Raven, since she's got the inside track - she's the stepdaughter of the murdered justice. Despite Detective Raven's unwillingness to have a civilian along, Callie Markham ends up riding shotgun to help look for her stepfather's murderer.

Within the next twenty-four hours, a Supreme Court law clerk is found murdered, the M.O. the same.

Savich learns he must also solve a thirty-year-old crime after a psychic encounter with the murder victim, Samantha Barrister, who suddenly appears in front of his car and hysterically pleads for his help. Savich and Sherlock discover that at the time of her death Samantha had a six-year-old son, who disappeared as a teenager. Savich is convinced the missing boy is the key.

In Blowout, Sherlock and Savich are faced with two of the most baffling and shocking cases of their careers.

This book follows the FBI formula. mystery, quick romance, and surprise ending. The performer could not live up to the mail voice.,

Good plot/ poor performance

The narrator was the weak point . Male voices were poorly performed especially Dillion Savich.

Weak narration

As always, Savich and Sherlock are the best crime catching duo on print and in audio. Kudos to Ms. Coulter for once again keeping me captivated. She has yet to author a book which I have not loved.

thrilling

I love this series, but this is the first time I have accidentally ordered an abridged version on Audible. so beware, or you will have to order two books.

Great as always

The story is very good with great characters and very good suspense. The narration was very good except for the voice of Savich.

Very good suspense, mostly good narration

poorly written

Just so boring I couldn't finish it. It sort of drones on and on and it's so dull that I really started losing track of the characters because I could stay focused on it.

Sanoooooze

While the author seems to have significant writing talent, she clearly could have put more work into researching the subject matter. Dialog often seemed as if it was from a bygone era. There were many ill ill-fitting details and unnatural male conversations. Speaking of male conversations, the narrator should probably avoid reading male voices in the future. It was easy to imagine the male characters inhaling helium from balloons in between statements.

too bad!

Hours of everyone guessing just who the killer was, and also the boring interviews on and on. The final explanation for "all of it" made no sense whatsoever. Finally the reader was a very poor choice for this book ... it should have been a male reader, and this woman trying to produce all of the male characters just does not work at all.

Save your credits.

Weak & Stupid
