About this listen

Distance is now a thing of the past.

That’s what investigator Michaels is learning as he uncovers a series of brutal murders committed by what the media is calling the God’s Breath Killer - a mysterious entity that leaves no clues, no logical explanation...and no witnesses.

Until a young woman crosses paths with this killer.

Meet Caitlyn Grey: 26, agoraphobic, and blind. She travels the world without leaving home. Caitlyn can blink - sending her mind across earth. It’s a skill she’s kept hidden, one she shares with this killer.

To the police, it’s the impossible: How could a blind woman see a crime that didn’t leave prints? But to Michaels, it’s just the break his investigation needs. He’s uncovered a pattern among the dead doctors, scientists, and professors - a connection to a Cold War experiment that weaponized the mind.

Now, Caitlyn and Michaels must team up to track down an evil formed by cruel science - an adversary that can bend perception itself. Both an unrelenting thriller and a tale of sci-fi-horror, Blind Site is a novel of identity and vengeance, a twisted hunt into fractured consciousness itself.

Wow, what a roller coaster ride!

I enjoyed this very, very much. I didn't think that I would enjoy it so much, because the writer took his time with the characters and the story, and it seemed to go off in different directions in the beginning. I've never heard of this author before, or perhaps I didn't pay much attention, but I look forward to reading his other novels, or listening to the novels. The narrator was excellent, although he had a problem with some female voices; overall it was excellent! Mr. Van Wey is articulate, knowledgeable and he can actually write about it and make it interesting. Highly recommended, You won't be disappointed.

The mind... a labyrinth of secrets

Received as an ARC ( ebook version ), this an honest review. Beware this book and avoid it if you don't want to be sucked into an adrenaline rush of an adventure because you won't be leaving your seat until the story is finished. Question everything, for this subtle and wickedly nuanced mystery is a complex web of deadly lies.... hauntingly memorable. The audiobook version narrated by Tom Jordan, does an absolutely impeccable job of giving this book the haunting, profound and deeply poignancy Blind Site rightfully deserves. Highly recommended.

Loved this book!

This book took me into a world that I had no idea would interest me so much.

I like the intrigue and the good to the very least word ending.

Tom Jordan brings all the characters to life as you listen!

Mesmerizing...

This is my 2nd book by Andrew Van Wey also narrated by Tom Jordan. This duo is unstoppable! Between Mr. Van Wey's extraordinary gift of creating a story that you visually see in your mind; like an Imax screen and Tom Jordan's exquisite narration, You won't be able to stop listening , I mean you will... you'll have to sleep; but you won't want to.

The details in this story were so intricate. I really liked every single character that I came across.

I am thrilled to find out that there is going to be a second part to this called Refraction which will be narrated by Tom Jordan and is due out at the end of August. Words cannot express how much I am looking forward to this.

Wonderful performance my Tom Jordan!

There are things the average human will never understand and even more that can never be explained. Generally, it's not required of us to understand or comprehend these unknowns. We go our way willingly oblivious to organizations, institutions, and individuals that live in the shadows. When unexplainable events do happen it may be too late. 'Blind Site' will have you questioning whether the old axiom of 'seeing is believing' still holds. This is an excellent thriller that will keep you second-guessing everything. The Audible book by Tom Jordan is wonderful.

my second time through.

I rarely read a book twice. It's that good. From start to finish. I may listen to it again ...

Wow ! Doesn't do this one justice.

This one could have easily been written for a tv mini series. So many characters, so many backgrounds and agendas; all woven together for what seems like a final end game, but wait there is more! Keep them coming, I cannot wait to jump into the next book of this series.

Good remote viewing story…

I would not classify this horror or scary in any way. But it was a well-written, well-told story. The narrator is awesome. However, I did find a couple of places where things took illogical turns; maybe so the book could be made longer?? Either way, good story. His other book, Head Like a Hole(weird title, I know) is much better than this story.

A no for me

I got to Chapter 37 and just couldn’t do anymore. This was not interesting to me. I think the synopsis sounds interesting but the long drawn out book was just too much for me, it didn’t hold my attention. I gave it a 3 because I don’t think it’s fair to give less than that when I didn’t finish it. I usually don’t usually even review books that I DNF but since I was over 1/2 into it I felt it was fair too.
