the story is really good and engrossing. the narration is is great, but my only qualm is the mispronunciation of certain words. the narrator is a very talented storyteller, but needs to work on his pronunciation skills. if you aren't sure about how to correctly say a word, you can always Google the pronunciation. overall, I highly reccomend this book.

I really enjoyed this one! Plot of the story may seem bizarre to some. BUT maybe not if you’ve heard of some conspiracies with the Elites/ Hollywood. Story had my attention of the start and kept it. I cannot believe the ending!! I need a sequel.

I was cracking up at how deeply invested I was in this story. Would love to see a video adaptation of some sort. Loved it

The story was so intense it was hard to stop listening to it. I loved how graphic it was and descriptive it was easy to imagine the scenes. The storyteller’s performance is just amazing. It’s completely deranged and if you aren’t a fan of graphic gore don’t listen. But if you are looking for blood guts gore and violence then this one’s for you.

it was funny in a way but really ridiculous and the only well developed character is not someone I felt strongly for.

Ugh, I really did not want to like this book. I literally felt sick to my stomach the whole time and on the edge of my seat as I went through Jon Athan's Blender Babies. As a father to a 3 year old girl and a 10-month old girl I really felt for the main character. One, because I have a baby, and two, because my oldest is a girl as well and to know what those people would have done with her..........


But overall this was a really well written story that was gripping and left me still listening. If I'm being honest, if it wasn't for the brawl I would have never even considered listening to it. And no offense Jon, but I don't know if I could stomach something like this again.
I thought I knew extreme horror from the others on the brawl list...but I think this one takes the cake.

Again, I really did not want to like this book, but I will still give it a respectable 3.75 stars!
