Publisher's summary

Waking up beside my best friend after a crazy night in Vegas is nothing new.

However, waking up wearing nothing but two shiny, matching wedding rings is. For the girl who promised to never settle down, it's her worst nightmare.

For me, it's a dream come true.

I've wanted Raelynn Vos since she first propositioned me at a frat party. I, of course, turned her down, knowing I'd need more than a one night stand. Nothing less than forever would do.

She's fierce and determined, but I'm more determined than she could ever be. When fate forces us to pretend our marriage is real, I use every second to prove I'm the perfect man to tame her wildness.

In fact, by the end of our charade, I'll have her begging for it.

Spicy friends to lovers, marriage of convenience!!

I really enjoyed this one! Such a fun friends-to-lovers, and fake marriage! Austin was definitely my favorite part of this book, he was just so sweet and would do anything for Rae. Austin and Rae had a drunken night in Vegas and got married. It ends up turning into a fake marriage to benefit both of them. I really loved how they had to act like they were madly in love, but accidentally fell for each other. I did get a little annoyed with Rae because she would constantly push Austin away. And I wanted her to grovel a little more at the end. But overall this was a fun romance and I can't wait to read more from Fiona Cole!

He had a filthy mouth!🔥

Things I liked, Austin being such a beast in the bedroom and such a cinnamon roll outside of it. I love Austin and Rae’s friendship.
Now the annoying part, Rae being selfish and not caring about Austin’s feelings. She wanted to sleep with him even when he said no and didn’t want to spoil the friendship. Rae was so against relationships, so why be so darn selfish with your best friend? Isn’t she supposed to love him and cherish him?!
I know, I’m ranting 😂 Fiona Cole is always good about messing up with my emotions!
Anyhow, I did enjoy this book. Vera’s story was my favorite. Sad to see this series come to and end, I will miss the girl gang.

narrators were excellent!
Well done 😊

Friends to lovers and all the dirty talk!!

Blame it on the Vodka by Fiona Cole was a passionate and spicy friends-to-lovers romance that made me blush, cheer, and swoon! I have been anticipating Rae's romance for a while, and it didn't disappoint. I loved her and Austin's chemistry that simmered and finally exploded as they discovered their true feelings for each other that may have been there all along!

Desiree Ketchum and J.F. Harding narrate this audiobook. This was the first time I'd heard them paired together, and they were pure fire! You could feel Rae's determined, strong-willed, and passionate persona conveyed perfectly in Desiree's performance. Plus, J.F. embodied Austin's loyal, dedicated, and alpha lover personality swooningly in an earbud-melting performance. (Hello, dirty talk!) Both narrators were amazing bringing the HEAT with Austin and Rae's fiery, undeniable chemistry!

Overall, I LOVED this book! If you are a fan of a friends-to-lovers romance with a hot hunky dedicated hero, a strong, sassy heroine, a Vegas wedding, jealous exes, a trip to the Hamptons, filthy talking steamy times, reliable besties, discovering true feelings, waffles, and a HEA that proves best friends do make the best lovers, then you will love Rae and Austin's story. I look forward to more from Fiona Cole!

Loved this Girl Squad

While I don't love the Friends to Lovers trope, I do love fake marriages. And while it's not really a fake marriage, more of an accidental one, it was still a comforting read. That being said, I don't think it was as good as the previous books in the series. I listened to the audiobook, and it was well done. I have loved seeing the Girl Squad throughout the whole series, that was what kept me coming back for more.
