As one who has spent thousands of hours hiking and backpacking in the backcountry in numerous national parks and forests, I eagerly purchased this book. Several of the storytellers were simply not credible. The Yellowstone Park Ranger who didn’t warn campers of the danger from Sasquatch and who left the Sasquatch twinkies on the side of the road made that storyteller unbelievable. The author’s follow up questions were superficial with little effort to flesh out the stories.

Great idea, but not really done well. I had high hopes for this but the stories just came off as meh and didn't hold my interest.
