Wynn Hygeort is stunned when Magiere and Leesil, along with the elven wolf Chap, show up at the Guild of Sagecraft. First I'm going to start by saying I skipped the second series of books because I do not like Wynn as a character and did not wish to read a whole series with her at it's head. This book made me glad that I did. The plot barely moved anywhere and was overall a very unsatisfying story.

subpar drawn out plot

The narrator read too quickly. It was hard to get into a good rhythm. The plot was drawn out. most of the book took place inside the guild centered around the rescue of Wynn. It's a drug out cash cow that I've invested a lot of time in so now I am doomed to continue reading until I've finished it. This entire book could have been consolidated into 2 good chapters....
