About this listen
BEN IS KIDNAPPED.
Thirteen-year-old Ben Archer has decided to reveal his alien powers to the media. Not because he wants to, but because he thinks it will help him get his message out to the world. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned when the media portrays his skill like a circus sideshow.
And not all eyes that are watching are friendly...
When Ben is kidnapped, Mesmo spares no effort to find him. He thinks the rebellious Wise Ones and mysterious UFO sightings may have something to do with Ben’s disappearance. But when he goes to investigate, he uncovers an earth-shattering threat instead - one that could cost him his life.
The Alien Skill Series is a science-fiction adventure series for teens. Listeners who enjoy Percy Jackson or Crime Travelers will enjoy this fresh, age-appropriate story with a scifi twist the likes of A Wrinkle in Time and Animorphs. These middle-grade books have won the hearts of young and old alike, turning them into a best-selling, award-winning coming-of-age series filled with alien powers, hidden enemies and a thought-provoking glimpse into the way we treat our planet.

An Exciting Adventure
I enjoyed book five as much as the others in the series. I was on tenterhooks after the kidnapping of Ben. The whole story kept my attention as each scene unfolded. I liked the new characters that were introduced. I felt for Laura and Mesmo as they worried about Ben and what was happening to him. I'm looking forward to the next book in the series. I enjoyed A. W. Dickson's narration, and his performance kept my attention. I was given a free copy of the audiobook. I volunteered, without financial gain, to post this review which reflected my honest opinions regarding this audiobook.
