About this listen
The explosive, definitive account of Michael Jackson’s fall from grace has now been updated with four new fascinating chapters. Award-winning journalist Diane Dimond, who first broke the story of the King of Pop’s battles against child molestation charges from 1993 to 2005, takes you behind the scenes and into the courtroom of one of the most controversial cases of the decade. This audio version gives listeners a dramatic glimpse of one reporter’s vigilance and unending quest to uncover the truth.
Michael Jackson has long captured the world’s attention, first as the dynamic lead singer of the Jackson Five, then during his highly successful breakout solo career. But somewhere along the line, Jackson transformed himself into something hardly recognizable and was investigated - not once, but twice - for crimes we could hardly imagine. Even now, after his unexpected acquittal on multiple charges of child molestation, there is a sense that the real truth behind the allegations is not known.
The character of Michael Jackson - from his humble beginnings to his rich career and the birth of Neverland Ranch - is destined for great debate among fans, journalists, historians, and psychiatrists for years to come. In the meantime, there is Diane Dimond, the journalist of record on the Jackson case. In November 2003, when the Santa Barbara county sheriff’s department conducted another raid on Neverland Ranch, Diane Dimond and her camera crews were the only ones there to capture the moment and report the news to the world. Now, for the first time, Dimond recounts the multifaceted details of the Jackson case, utilizing her extensive notes and sources. What she tells us is a shocking story.
Be Careful Who You Love will take you behind the scenes and into the courtroom of one of the most controversial cases of the decade, while giving listeners a dramatic glimpse of one reporter’s vigilance and unending quest to uncover the truth.

Really enjoyed this book. I don’t give many books 5 stars but I feel this one deserves it. I’ve never been on Michael Jackson fan but I don’t dislike him either. This is a really good in-depth explanation of the case yet it’s not so technical to turn you off. Really enjoyed it and would recommend

Bring’s you back . .
I enjoyed the book as it bring’s you back to the trial and how shocking it was to have someone SO famous accused of such a shocking crime. AND with so many boy’s!
I remember watching Ms. Dimond during those day’s and I always like her professionalism. This book is chalked full of details and court papers, and lot’s a direct quotes from those involved.
As much as I love Michael Jackson, (paid $100 to go see him in Irvine) it left me feeling queasy about him. And felt he should have gone to jail!

A MUST READ FOR ANY MJ FAN... OR NOT
Diane Dimond takes you thru a riveting step by step account, done in a fast paced narrative that has you intently waiting to absorb more & more information regarding the case and private life of Michael Jackson. Much is quoted directly from the infamous trial, so we can form educated opinions. Additionally, we learn what was going on behind the scenes... and she has receipts! This book is an eye opener for ppl who have been fortunate enough not to have been molested. For those of us who have, especially by a man in a very powerful position... please take the time to realize that a man can do good deeds and still have a secret, deviant, even evil side. This book is a gift, bc authors so rarely give us unvarnished truth. The only angle Diane Dimond has is to ensure we get accurate information. A tremendous thank you for producing a book covering an important issue that too many want to ignore. *EXCELLENT*

Jackson beat it
An well esearch book. It's sad the prosecution couldn't have done. It's beyond any sense of sanity on how the notes in other paperwork cannot be reviewed by attorneys ( defense or prosecutors or law students) From the 2005 trial it's just it's this wrong Yes I hope people dealt into this area of imbalance in our society and is society and um. A great job Diane excellent work
