Riveting

This is book three of the Crash Dive Series. Our protagonist is Lt. Charles Harrison who is finishing PXO School and has been assigned to the USS Sandtiger.

The book is well written and fairly well researched. I enjoyed the interplay of the various personalities of the crew. The author made me feel as if I was one of the crew. The author also made me feel as if I was inside the submarine. The book is easy to read. I liked the fact that each book is about five hours. This makes a good change of pace from the longer non-fiction books I have been reading. I am looking forward to the next book.

The book is five hours and six minutes. R.C. Bray does an excellent job narrating the book. Bray has won the Audie Award, multiple Earphone Awards and the Voice Arts Award.
