Dude just abandons his cooking

I disliked how in the third book he kinda just abandoned his family in order to explore and woo other women

First two books are great

I really enjoyed the playfulness of the first two books. The first quarter of the third book was also fine but then the book took a very serious somber note not only that, but the third book doesn’t really wrap up the series instead it just kind of ends. Disappointing.

I've listened over and over again.

I don't know how many times I've listened to this series, but it's more than a few.
You'd think that a story would have trouble being interesting when the MC is completely OP.
But this HaremLit slice-of-life has enough adventure and good enough characters to make this one of my top 10 HaremLit slice-of-life series.
It's nice to have it all in one book now.
Great writing and narration.
I give this book 8.5 out of 5 stars.

Great story but...

So he had several powers like slams and shouts but when he should be using them in the last book, he never does... Ocrs should all been slaughtered with his abilities. o well. I hope a book four and more will come some day.

Cute Idea Poorly Executed

Really fun idea and some great characters but two things ruined it for me. First the idea that any cooking ingredient found on Earth would somehow be available on another world. Seriously...Himalayan salt?? Second, in the second book he seems to completely forget about his abilities and becomes an easy target for monsters? Sorry but that was it for me and I gave up.

I was so confused.

The MC comes to the world and is OP and the story starts out sort of following what the title suggests it is supposed to be. Then the MC starts beating up characters an the chef part just gets kind of sidelined. Their is way to much internal monologue. The MC is OP one minute the he is getting beat up by weaker characters then OP again wiping out armys. It feel like the author didnt know what he wanted to write. Slice of life, action/adventure, or a book on self doubt an introspection.
