Minister La La sits down with Kellen Perkins. Kellen is a natural story teller. He shares his definition of authentic joy. He tells the stories of his family and kinship that helped shaped his life and how important they are to him and he holds nothing back. As this is a Black History month conversation, Kellen and Minister La La speak about the experience of growing up as a Black gay man in Utah. With tidbits of Black History shared throughout the episode. But most importantly he shares his history and his family’s history.
