Reedy evaluated former Chargers head coach Brandon Staley and former Chargers quarterback coach Doug Nussmeier, the lead candidates for the Saints' defensive and offensive coordinator vacancies. Mike and Charlie spoke to WWL listeners about the 2025 college baseball season and the best edge prospects in the 2025 NFL Draft. Former MLB pitcher Scott Sanders joined Mike and Charlie to discuss LSU baseball's strong 4-0 start to the 2025 season. Sanders evaluated Chase Shores, Kade Anderson, and the Tigers' quartet of freshman relief pitchers. Mike, Steve, and Charlie played their daily "Triple Option" segment. Steve and Charlie recapped LSU baseball's 13-1 run-rule victory over Southern and listened to postgame audio from Tiger head coach Jay Johnson. Saints sideline reporter Jeff Nowak joined Steve and Charlie to discuss Kellen Moore's recent assistant coaching staff additions. The guys interviewed ToyLoy Brown, an LSU men's basketball reporter for The Advocate. Brown broke down the Tigers' matchup against South Carolina. Brown also shared his thoughts on the loaded SEC and LSU head basketball coach Matt McMahon. Steve and Charlie also heard from Coach McMahon.
