    Get ready to hit the slopes at Catamount Mountain Resort As of today, February 8th, the current snow depth at the base is 12 inches, and at the summit, it's a whopping 36 inches. The last 24 hours have seen 2 inches of fresh snowfall, adding to the excitement. Over the past 48 hours, the resort has received a total of 2 inches of new snow, setting the stage for some fantastic skiing and snowboarding.

    Currently, 6 out of 8 lifts are open, giving you access to 32 out of 44 trails. The surface conditions are a mix of machine-groomed and variable snow, ensuring a variety of experiences for all skill levels. The temperature is a crisp -6°C (21°F) at the base and -2°C (28°F) at the summit, with a gentle 1 m/h wind.

    Looking ahead, the weather forecast for the next 5 days promises a mix of sunshine and snow. Tomorrow, expect clear skies with temperatures ranging from -11°C (12°F) to -6°C (21°F). On Sunday, it's more of the same, with clear skies and temperatures between -11°C (12°F) and -6°C (21°F). Monday brings 2cm (1in) of new snow, with temperatures from -8°C (18°F) to -6°C (21°F). Tuesday and Wednesday are expected to be clear, with temperatures gradually warming up.

    On the slopes, the piste conditions are excellent, thanks to the recent snowfall and meticulous grooming. Off-piste, the snow is variable but still offers plenty of opportunities for adventure. The season total snowfall is around 100 inches, ensuring a solid base for the rest of the season.
