  • On November 8th, 1975, a strange incident known as the "Travis Walton UFO Encounter" took place in the Apache-Sitgreaves National Forest near Snowflake, Arizona. Travis Walton, a 22-year-old logger, and his six coworkers were driving home after a long day's work when they encountered a mysterious, glowing object hovering in the sky.

    According to the witnesses, the object was a bright, disc-shaped craft, approximately 20 feet in diameter, emitting a high-pitched buzzing sound. Walton, intrigued by the strange object, left the truck and approached the craft on foot. As he neared the object, a beam of light suddenly struck him, lifting him off the ground and causing him to disappear in a flash of light.

    Terrified, his coworkers fled the scene, but they soon returned to search for Walton. However, they found no trace of him or the mysterious craft. The men reported the incident to the local authorities, and a massive search party was organized to find the missing logger.
