El ayuno intermitente puede ayudar a la regeneración celular y a la pérdida de peso. También afirma ayudar a retardar el crecimiento del cáncer. En la edad fértil, no se recomienda ayunar más de 14 horas porque puede alterar el equilibrio hormonal y tener efectos dañinos. Se supone que todo ayuno debe estar muy programado y no en exceso. Este libro dio una descripción muy clara de cómo el ayuno afecta su cuerpo. Las recetas eran muy simples en su mayor parte, pero me encantaron los botes de calabacín con pollo a la barbacoa.

Ojalá hubiera leído este maravilloso libro hace décadas. Literalmente ha cambiado mi vida. Cuando me preguntan sobre mi pérdida de peso y mi salud mejorada y respondo que estoy ayunando, generalmente escucho "eso no es saludable". ¡Si supieran! Nicole Gibbs, explica con elocuencia toda la investigación científica detrás del ayuno y por qué es tan beneficioso. Las explicaciones están bien escritas y son muy completas. Las historias y las fotos de antes y después en línea son asombrosas e inspiradoras. No estaba seguro de poder pasar un tiempo sin comer, pero descubrí que era fácil y que valía la pena. No tenía más de veinte libras que perder, pero en el primer mes bajé 10 libras y perdí más de 18 pulgadas. Si está buscando explorar este estilo de vida que cambia la vida, esta es una lectura obligada. !

¡Me tomó 3 días leer este libro, porque había tanta información que necesitaba leer, releer y subrayar! ¡Finalmente saqué un cuaderno y tomé notas que eran importantes para mí en este punto de mi viaje de ayuno!
Si te tomas en serio no querer volver a hacer dieta nunca más, ¡lee este libro! ¡Realmente no se trata de QUÉ comes, se trata de CUÁNDO y con qué frecuencia comes! El ayuno intermitente le permite a su cuerpo tomar un respiro al digerir los alimentos TODO EL DÍA. ¡Se trata de tener el cuerpo sano y delgado que siempre has querido y tener una ventana para comer que funcione para ti!

Este libro es una lectura obligada para cualquiera que esté considerando el estilo de vida del ayuno intermitente. Nicole Gibbs explica la ciencia detrás de esta forma de comer que realmente te ayuda a comprender no solo cómo sino por qué. Excelentes consejos para ayudarlo a comenzar y continuar, especialmente si se encuentra con problemas. He perdido 28 libras y nunca me he sentido como si estuviera “a dieta”.
