I was surprised by the story & the outstanding Audible reading of Sebastian York. (York’s could read a phone book & I’d enjoy it.) I’m new to Lexi Blake but fell in love w/ the Bliss series. The Bliss series was filled w/ humor, relationships & description so clear you have could be there. This story is shorter so w/ it has less character development but not to the point of ignoring the main characters. (I adore Cody. He’s everyone’s best friend.) I was afraid since this about a couple where he can’t commit & woman trying to find herself after battling cancer it would be depressing. However the messages of compromise, self-respect & the importance of friendship make nether character anything but genuine. I would recommend it to others.

So good. At moments I got nervous that Cal might not learn his lesson but in the end he did and what a delightful ending it was. Highly recommend if you like 🌶️. My only complaint is I wish it had been a bit longer but I feel satisfied so I can’t really complain about the books length.

For a shorter story this one packs a lot in a short time. A bit of an emotional roller coaster.

This D/s story starts off with Cal and Gabby in a contractual relationship with strict set of rules...Until Gabby decides she needs more. She had her reasons for leaving but didn't reveal them to Cal...but left and left him in confusion. Months later he finds out and goes on a mission to get her back.

I was given this book to listen to and I am leaving this review voluntarily.

Away From Me is Call and Gabby's story. It's an erotic, D/s relationship romance. This story has all the feels, drama and steam. Their story has so many twists and turns with bumps in the road before they get to their HEA. It's a very enjoyable read.

Sebastian York did an amazing job bringing these characters to life.

This was my second the first I read it. Gaby left Cal without telling him she had cancer. When he finds out he is hurt and will do anything to get her back. I understood what Gaby was going through with not wanting anyone to see her scars. I have breast cancer and I have those same scars. This was a good read I loved it

A BDSM master refuses to marry his submissive and after she leaves he realizes his mistake. A short story when of second chance love. Narration is great but dual narration would have been better. Great as a sale book but Too short to be worth a full credit.

This was a quick and sexy listen about Cal and Gabriella's relationship. What started as a D/S relationship became so much more. It took Cal a little while to realize that he loved Gabriella, but when he realized it, he couldn't let her go. He fought for her which I loved. I loved that this story was short and to the point and yet told a very meaningful story with great heat. I hope there is more in this series!

Sebastian York, need a say more? He did a great job with this one.
