Honest review
This was a good series. Not my go to genre but definitely worth the listen. It wasn’t as I thought it was to begin with but turned out to be good. A sleeping disordered stalkerish guy falling in loved with a broken girl kinda love. The ending has me torn as I need to know what really happened to Keon.

Expected more.....
I just well had hoped for so much more from this series. The narrator is really not my cup of tea and the story, though interesting at points tends towards monotony. But I do look forward to see what else Ashleigh has to offer.

I give this 3.5 stars
I found the concept interesting. But I struggled with the female character. She was way too clingy right at first. And considering her past relationship problem, I just didn't buy into that.
Both characters need lots of therapy. lol.
And towards the end I found the relationship between the father and main character weird. Again, too close too soon for me to believe.
Not saying it's a bad book. It isn't. It just wasn't my style.

Creepy stalker story
***MIGHT CONTAIN SPOILERS***
This was a creepy stalker story that I feel gets justified by a medical condition which does not sit that well with me personally. At first it was eerie and promised good things (especially if you've read Caroline Kepnes' You), but unfortunately there was no development in Awake and then the justifiction of Kian's behaviour is something that makes me angry
