About this listen

If there's one thing Verity will consistently do, it's spontaneously make terrible decisions.

Sometimes they work out well—so far, smuggling her rescue cat into the shadow realm has been a great success—but more often than not, she ends up with a bigger mess to clean up than she started with.

If there's one thing Theon will consistently do, it's plot his brother's demise after losing his spot in the line of succession to King Allerick. It has yet to work out well for him, but there's a first time for everything, right?

Especially now that Theon has got himself an ex-hunter of his own to feed from, and he's stronger than ever.

But Verity isn't going to let Theon get away with his treasonous ways, not when he has so much to offer the shadow realm. For the first time, someone believes that Theon has the capacity to do good in the world.

If only he believed her.

Avaritia is the fourth book in the Shades of Sin series, featuring humans and their not-quite-so-human partners. Each book is a standalone, but best enjoyed in order. For mature listeners.

love these books

These books are spicy, sweet and funny. I love them. BUT I Loovvveee the narrators. Rachel is great at the various voices of each female character. Will Thorne is my all time fave audio guy, love anything he says although his US voice isn't my favorite since it covers his swoon accent. His Damen voice in these books is my fave, polished British prince accent. ❤️ FYI I listen to these on 1.1x

My favorite story in the series ♥️🔥

One of my favorite series ever but this book in particular was my favorite. I love Theon and Verity. They were absolutely perfect for one another the witty banter back and forth and the incredible chemistry between them was tangible. Both had issues of abandonment in different ways and it affected them greatly. But together they filled the empty spaces in their souls which gave them purpose. It also created a deep and abiding love ❤️ that neither had ever experienced before. They were both willing to put the other first no mater the cost to themselves. Will Thorne has a unique voice that I’ve come to love but it really shined as Theon dark and delicious 🔥♥️. Rachel Leblang really does a beautiful job as verity I could her the humor and the sense of exasperation when Verity scolded Theon at times in the novel. I highly recommend you give this a listen and a read you won’t be disappointed 🔥🔥🔥♥️♥️♥️😍😍😍

Dude. This is a good book.

This book literally has it all. Seriously, it has a great story, the characters are interesting and have their own personalities and nuances, and it’s NARRATION??????? flawless. On both parts. So incredibly enjoyable to listen to, completely keeps you wrapped in, it’s really well done. I don’t know this author, but so far out of the three books that I’ve listened to, these books are dope. I’m so excited to continue this series, I’m posting this everywhere. I love the narrators?? Can I just say, like, mega fan lol
