Always a real world very realistic element in the story lines. I was happy to see Jill on her out journey… it was sweet intimate and spicy.
Also loved the continued interconnected relationships , old and new. I love all the characters.. they all seem so distinct! Amazing writing and excellent narrative !!!

Let's talk about "The Dawe Effect." Angela Dawe is so damn good that she elevates every work she narrates. So while I was somewhat uncomfortable with the premise while reading it, I was much less so listening to her performance of it. Interesting.
What still nagged at me was the insta-love aspect. I guess love at first sight is possible, but it seemed more lust at first sight and I think more needed to happen to convince me that it wasn't just Amelia's looks and low, smoky voice that Jill was so drawn to. And Dawe's take on that voice?? Lord. Have. Mercy.
Also - when Dawe performed the love scene it was so hot that I nearly had to strap myself to the chair to prevent myself from sliding right out of it. I won't repeat what she whispered here, but let me just say, that scene alone was worth the cost of the whole damn book. lol No kidding! Just scorching, folks. Again - I will purchase anything Dawe narrates because she's just so talented and I definitely think in this case the audio version is the way to go. I love the Pink Bean series in general and am really grateful Bliss gave us a new installment.

I don’t know how many times I rewound the recording to hear Amelia’s voice…Dawe is a wonderful narrator. Her voice is warm and embracing.

This is a very nice romance. I listened straight thru over 2 days.
A feel good romance but I was disappointed in the abrupt ending.

Great addition to the Pink Bean series. I just love the characters and entertaining stories in the series. Jill Beckett is the Therapist in my dreams. Amelia Shaw is the scientist and athlete who makes the match exceptional. A blend of erotic and tender moments. Narration creates a perfect sexy deep voiced ambience. Recommend series.

I have loved every Pink Bean book, and while I can’t say this is my favorite (it’s hard to pick one!) I do love the premise!
I remember having a crush on a therapist when I was an adolescent- but she was no match for Jill (I would have been in serious trouble if she were!)
I love that both MC’s have their own baggage to work through, and they end up HEA no matter the stakes!

Getting a second chance at romance is a common theme. This story takes it one level higher with a character who gets at second chance at life! It seems that reinventing oneself is a job best done when two characters also start a life-enhancing romance that begins as a slow burn but soon turns into a 5-alarm fire! The professional dilemma of one character is addressed in an ethically responsible way, which is often true of this series, as it often takes on morally ambiguous or sensitive areas of life and love in many of the stories. I not only recommend this book but the whole series! Tomatoes or tomAHto- your cup of tea or someone else’s brew. The series is an entertaining look at the many choices that people face in relationships, sex, families, careers and life and it does a good job of pointing out that being judgmental is not always the same thing as exercising good judgment. Highly recommend!

I love the way Harper incorporates different life issues into her books. they're not just love stories in that the characters are flawed which makes them more human. definite must read series from start to finish

Loved this last book of the Pink Bean series! This was extremely spicy sapphic romance at its finest! The storyline was amazing and easier than I thought it would be to get to the point. Don't get me wrong I've grown to love all the stories from this author when it comes to them being in their head about everything and I understand why this happens after book one of this series. I kind of expected it because it gives you an extra insight into the feelings of each character so I absolutely love it but for book 10 I feel we received a shorter version of the in their head version and it was still a great experience. One of my favorite things was almost every person that has ever been in this series was mentioned in this last book. I love when authors mention past characters in the newest book because it keeps them alive and you can remember what you read before. The realness of this storyline was amazing because unfortunately this happen alot in life that dreaded meltdown and emotional Rollercoaster of a burnout from work and life. These MCs were alluring and absolutely addictive and I was taken from the beginning to the last words. I would like one more story in this series and that's from Dawn her wife and their children's origin story. How they met and their love story to the kids and I think this would conclude the series for me. Absolutely phenomenal writing paired with one of the best narrator voices in the game makes this series an awesome listening experience! 10s across the board! Must listen!
