About this listen

Every day's a good one, As Long as There Is Chocolate.

Sick of heartbreak, Kate decides to devote her life to making fine chocolates and forget about relationships altogether. But when she opens a gourmet chocolate shop across the street from a deli run by a handsome Italian she dubs "Fabio the Sandwich Boy", she discovers she's not the only one dishing out temptation.

Gio wants to help Kate overcome her fears about love, but his big, boisterous Italian family gets in the way. Even long-dead relatives get in on the act, leading them on a treasure-seeking adventure.

Can Gio convince Kate to take a chance on him? Or will his family's secrets get in their way?

Nice Sweet Story

This was a sweet and really cute book, I liked the chemistry between Gio and Kate they were adorable together specially how Gio is trying to be the ever knight in shining armor ( he just cracks me up for some reason )
So the story is about Kate and Gio who both own a restaurant across the street from each other, and one day they stumble on a mystery in Kate's apartment that will set them on an adventure to unlock a secret about the founding of the town itself.. if you want something fluffy with not much drama and nice flowing story I think you will enjoy this book
The narrator was really nice and she is fun to listen to, nice book :)

Intriguing romance with history and magic

I received a copy of this audiobook from the author via AudioBoom and am voluntarily offering my honest review. As Long as There is Chocolate was one of the more interesting romances I've listened to in a while. The story takes place in a fictional enclave in Colorado settled by generations of Italians, a scenario the author based on research of actual Colorado settlements. While at heart it is the story of two young strangers falling in love, it is also the story of multiple generations of couples bound together by passion and commitment to family. It is a "clean" romance, something I found at times a bit far-fetched, but it nonetheless held my attention and gradually won my heart. The narration was well-done, and the bits of Italian that occasionally appeared added to the allure. The chocolate that started the story played less and less of a role as the plot played out, but the overall sweetness prevailed.

Loved it!

This story held my attention from the beginning to the end and had lots of fun twists and turns. I grew up loving ghost stories and I also love romance. These wove together seamlessly. Fantastic narration too. Overall great!

Romance, Ghost and Chocolate

What can go wrong when chocolate is involved? Well, let's see ghost and a mystery that concludes with a romance. The narrator was not that great to me and there were some very cheesy moments in the story. She is on a ladder and suddenly he is there to catch her even though when she started to fall he was across the street. Well, listen for yourself and decide. I got this story via audiobook boom and this is my voluntary review.

Wonderful book!

First, I have to say I really loved the characters in this book. I enjoyed listening to their interactions, relationships and the way they all cared about one another. The setting was also wonderful, with the cozy little town and the nice friendly atmosphere. The storyline is heartwarming and just makes for an overall nice book. "This book was given to me for free at my request and I provided this voluntary review.

SWEET LIKE CHOCOLATE

TANA LOVETT delivered such flare in a beautifully written masterpiece
once again a playing the role, Patricia Santomasso delivered the story with such ease bringing each and every character to life.
sadly i could not find more books from this author.... and if this is her one and only book, i do implore her to grace us with more of her talent.

All i can say is, that it is a beautiful love story, everything PG... a little bit of a super natural conspiracy, that isnt too far fetched. It cleverly written and extremely descriptive. I very much enjoyed the story line.

cute fun listen

A very entertaining story that held my attention keeping me invested in the hidden treasures, romance, a fun ghost, which is all twisted around my favorite food chocolate. I thought it was fun and witty, I laughed and chuckled my way through it. The author gives you an unique story that holds your attention.

The narrator was outstanding giving me a full mental picture which hooked me. She made it fun, lively and entertaining. There are no background noises, no volume change, no repeating of wording. Her male and female voices were wonderful. You always knew who was talking and what they were feeling. She puts a lot of emotion in her narration giving a delightful clear, clean listen. The narrator gave a very vivid display that kept me listening long after I could have been doing other things.

I totally enjoy this audio the author put a lot of thought into it. There was a little more filler than I like but was well worth the listen. It is filled with delightful characters and a wonderful plot. I have not read anything my this author or listened to anything by this narrator but do plan on doing so again.

What a Gem!

This is a multifaceted book. There is mystery, romance, hidden treasure, ghosts, and chocolate! I loved the imagery the author wrote in this book. I could envision so much, especially what Castle rock looks like (fictional Castle Springs). The history and descriptions were so vivid. I loved the book. Patricia Santomasso was a new narrator to me, and I found her to be delightful. I thought she had great distinguished voices for the various characters and added to the story. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarily written this review. Tana Lovett wove such a wonderful story. I will definitely listen to more of her books. I enjoyed hearing how she lived in Colorado and took parts of different places to create the town of Castle Springs and its quirky characters. This book was time well spent listening, and worth listening to again.
