This audiobook shares stories and history about Ancient Africa. I had never been taught this until I bought this audiobook. I learned a little about the ancient hunters, the Nok civilization, and how they lived their lives in times when we did not have advanced technology. There may be a few things in the bible that I read that are not in this audiobook, as well as in the Book of Mormon. I've seen similar stories on YouTube that discuss this topic, but this audiobook delves deeper than the pyramids of Giza. It’s an interesting story, and the narrator best fits this book.

These stories should be known by the world. It’s not normal we know basically nothing about the history of a whole continent. I learned many valuable things and I hope many will too!

I’m honestly a little shocked at how little I knew about Africa’s ancient civilizations. This book filled in so many gaps I didn’t even realize were missing. I finished it feeling more curious, and honestly a bit emotional. Definitely something I’ll be recommending to my nieces and nephews.
