I Love This Series

Another boxset of Aspen Cove romances. Three more couples find their HEA in this small town. Merrick and Deanna; Beth's Merrick's sister, and Gray; and Jewel and Mason. I have to say Merrick and Beth's mom, Ilsa is crazy and funny. Logan McAllister continues to bring these characters to life with his narration.

excellent Listening

I loved the stories in this collection. It is set in one of my favorite places. Aspen Cove is a place where no one is a stranger. The stories are heartwarming with happy endings.
Logan McAllister has a low sensual voice that adds to the story. The narration is clear and easy to understand. This is well worth the listen.

Loved the Aspen Cove books 16-18 collection!

Aspen Cove books 16-18 continue the world building and beautiful love stories of the Aspen Cove, CO residents. The stories are entertaining and fraught with creative character backstories, funny scenes, strong and sassy women, and sweet and sexy men. I love that the author continues to build the town and the personalities that reside there. If Aspen Cove were a real place, I’d definitely go for a visit! The narrator did a beautiful job of bringing the stories to life; his many voices and personalities really make you feel like you’re there with the characters in a whole new way. Looking forward to the next audio collection!

A must read / listen in the Aspen Cove series

Once again an amazing collection of stories set in Aspen Cove.
Love the characters and all of the stories in this book set.
There are great storylines, catch ups with some previous residents of the Cove, always love to be found and new people to meet.
For me, this collection is a great way to relax and while away some time in Aspen Cove, which I always enjoy so much.
Always love the narration.

One Hundred Mistakes
An impulsive kiss that changed everything
Trying to make one of the band members that she works with jealous, Deanna ends up kissing the nearest single man, who just happens to be Merrick, Aspen Coves deputy Sheriff.
Both needing each others help for different reasons they agree to a fake relationship which very quickly becomes more than they both expected.
An Aspen Cove story that made me feel many emotions.
From getting to know more residents and falling in love with these new characters to a dangerous situation that could have ended badly.
Another really great story, adding to the towns appeal.
Have loved this story and reading all of the books so far.

One Hundred Nights
Consequences of a meddling Mum
In this Aspen Cove story we are introduced to Merrick’s sister Beth who after her mum’s meddling in things she should not touch, she finds herself pregnant after a one night stand with Gray, Indigo’s guitarist.
She moves to Aspen Cove to be away from her mum and closer to her brother as she navigates her new life and becoming a single mum.
Gray having gotten out of a terrible marriage is bitter.
Not wanting to ever fall in love or trust a woman again but being pulled towards Beth as she is clearly not like the other women he has encountered.
Will Beth tell Gray and allow him into her and the babies life or is she too independent and will she pull away from him?
Will Gray see this as her manipulating him or see the really beautiful person that Beth is?
A beautiful story of love, owning animals that need extra love and care, overcoming insecurities and a meddling mum who will do reckless things to become a grandmother.
Well worth reading, I loved it.

One Hundred Whispers
Hiding away
Trying to blend in with the people of Aspen Cove and not have people recognise her Jewel wants a quiet life away from the humiliation she had recently endured in her high profile life.
Mason known around town with not so much of a good reputation, finds himself residing in Aspen Cove after an ultimatum is laid down by his father.
After joining forces to each get what they want out of a deal they strike, both realise that with all the time they now spend together they have begun to really like and care about each other.
Can Mason change his old ways and learn to trust in what he is feeling for Jewel?
Will Jewel accept Mason even when he reveals the truth?
Another really lovely story in the Aspen Cove series that I thoroughly enjoyed.

Conflicted About Narration. Stories Are Well Done!

****Audio book Review 9/13/23***
I listened to the audiobook. I did not like the narration on this group of books as much as the previous collection. The narration on the 2nd book and 3rd book had both Beth and Jewel sounding like major whiners. They both came across as if everyone was against them, being mean to them, or try to screw over them. I didn't get that same feeling from the ebook.

The stories are still good and definitely worth a read or a listen. The narration may not come across the same way to another listener, so I would give it a shot. I would give the collection 4.5 stars.

One Hundred Mistakes 2021-01-01
This was an entertaining read with a number of humorous moments. I thought Merrick and Deanna had great chemistry. Some of their conversations were witty and fun, although they were really crappy at communicating to each other what they really wanted.

I love Aspen Cove. Everyone was clued into Merrick and Deanna way before they ever were. I also like the sense of friendship and family that exists in this town. I am looking forward to the next installment.

One Hundred Nights 2021-04-26
This was a feel good romance. The only exception was Beth and Merrick's mother. What she did was selfish, underhanded, and cruel. No one has the right to take a person's decision away from them, especially about something that important. Then to wait until Beth was in her 30's to share information with her that she had been asking for all her life was selfish.

Gray and Beth had chemistry. They had chemistry. I could feel that they liked each other. There was some humor, some witty conversations. I really couldn't fault either one for the way they handled the situation. It wasn't ideal, but it was understandable.

One Hundred Whispers. 2021-07-26
I never thought there would be anything redeemable about Mason, but I was proven wrong. Mason and Jewel were perfect together. Their banter, even when they were wary of each other, added an extra layer of charm.

Mason's father was the perfect evil, scum bag villain. Not much different from him were Jewel's former best friend Sylvia, and her selfish ex husband Max.
