Painful to listen to

I have never written a review and I have bought dozens of Audible books. I feel compelled to warn others- This is by far the worst book I have ever listened to. I actually didn’t finish it and feel dumber for listening to the parts I did.
The narrator sounds like a monotone robot or computer voice reading with no punctuation or inflections in his voice. The author doesn’t write like he’s a native English speaker, which is fine, I respect and admire people who speak multiple languages. However, I’ve never really heard anyone compose sentences like his. Kind of a strange and confusing choice of words to get his point across. People don’t usually talk that way- a bit off. For these 2 reasons I could not finish the book and regret buying it.
