About this listen

One hot night changed everything.

As a kid, all I ever wanted to do was fly. I was born a pilot.

And I’m the best fighter pilot in the world. They call me Dice because of my dicey aerial maneuvers.

Safety and security aren’t my first concern. Living big is.

Right before our next big show, we’re forced to work with a new inspector.

You know, the nerdy guys in Levi’s and New Balance sneakers.

Much to my surprise, it’s a curvy babe that makes my blood rush to all the right places.

She’s clever, sexy, and gives me a run for my money when it comes to stubbornness.

But she has a secret that could change everything.

My career, my future, my world.

One night together and she’s got my legacy in her belly.

She decides to not tell me about the baby, and she grounds my plane because she’s scared, which leaves us with a fight on our hands.

I’m used to being the one in control in the sky, but she holds all the power on the ground.

I’ve been a lot of things in my life, but all I want to be right now is her All American Bad Boy.

one hot Blue Angel

Mitchell, aka Dice, is one cocky, arrogant, Blue Angel pilot. He is self assured, overly confident and takes risks in flight and in life. He is known to have his hookups in the cities they tour.
Samantha, smart, intelligent, sassy, confident. She is the best in her profession, an inspector for the aircrafts. She follows the rules, until she met Mitch.
Oh when Mitch saw her, he knew he wanted to have her. Sam knew it was against the rules, she couldn't resist his charms.
I love the banter between them,. Their relationship hot, cold, hot and cold, steamy.
I enjoyed listening to this story narrated by Conan Kennedy. He is a new narrator for me. His deep, sexy voice was perfect for Mitch. And surprisingly his female voices are great. He captured the intensity, personalities, and voices of each character. very well done.
I was gifted this audio and offered my honest review.

only honesty belongs in a relationship

It was beyond sweet to see Mitch's vulnerable side towards Sam(and hot too).. I love two strong main characters clashing and the results! lol. I expected integrity and Sam fell so short of that mark that it was disheartening and disappointing. Then, she has the gall to act like a rabid klingy capuchin monkey and expect Mitch to know why???? Lies by omission are still lies , Sam!! I didn't have any empathy or sympathy for Sam or her lies, because she's an adu6and had to acce6the consequences of her actions and not blame Mitch. Good resolution and ending. I voluntarily listened to a free copy of this and am giving an honest review. The narrator did a great job bringing the characters and story to life.

HEA

I enjoy strong female leads and this book has one. Samantha Reid has been hired as Inspector for the Blue Angels naval flight show squadron to ensure safety of planes and pilots. Playboy pilot Mitch aka 'Dice' is attracted to the new inspector. Conan Kennedy did a great job.

Love story with wings!

This is my first listen by this author and I loved it!! This story had character development, angst, men in uniform, love and a believable story line. Such a wonderful story!

Worth Breaking the Rules

I loved this story, the plot definitely drew me in. The push and pull romance that kept me reading, wondering when they would just give in. Sam is a very strong woman who wants to be respected for what she does. I truly enjoyed her devotion to flying and her job. The time Mitch and Sam spent together was perfect. Both Sam and Mitch make mistakes along the way, but they are definitely related to their lives/personality. They are both relatable, but I specifically related to Sam's work ethic. Medusa and Watchdog add so much to the story. Overall, it was a fun Military read. I recommend you read it.

The narration was very good. All of the characters were voiced well. He even did a good job with the female voices. Mitch's voice was perfect especially in the scenes he was with Sam. The narration was aided, when I had the natural sounds of jets taking off around me ( part of living in northern Nevada). Overall, the narration kept me engaged in their story and I was sad when I had to put it down. I received a copy of the audiobook from the narrator and am leaving an honest review.

Love listening to a bad boy

Several firsts for me first here. First time with a storyline with a Top Gun kind of theme. Enjoyable, especially since I had just watched the new sequel for the TG movie not too long ago It was my first time listening to the author. I thought it was a good novella and I'd listen to this author again. It was also my first time listening to the narrator Conan. His voice was perfect for the MMC. I'd listen to him again in a heartbeat.

The Fly boy & the mechanic

This is book 4 in the Military Men Romance series by Weston Parker. I haven’t read/listened to any of the other books in the series but this stands really well on its own.

Definitely gave me Top Gun vibes without being a copy of that storyline. Despite initially being annoyed with Mitch’s personality, I grew to really love him and enjoyed his growth over the story. Sam was more difficult for me. She’s mechanically smart and the best in her field, unfortunately in terms of life experiences & social interactions she came off as young and ignorant without an explanation as to why.

At first I enjoyed the push/pull between them and the fact that Mitch wanted more while Sam wanted to keep things professional, but it eventually became a little too angsty for me. There was a lot of repetition in the writing and dialogue which I think dragged things out unnecessarily.

I did enjoy their dates and it was obvious Mitch & Sam had a lot in common and could connect easily. The banter, really between all the characters, was a lot of fun. I liked when they were finally on the same page and could easily believe their HEA. Cute epilogue.

Narration:
This was narrator motivated by Conan Kennedy. I enjoy the way that he performs the chapters from Sam’s perspective in a higher affect to differentiate them from Mitch’s. Kennedy has a great range of character voices which was great with so many people regularly speaking. And hoooo boy - Mitch’s voice, especially when he set his sights on Sam ❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥

I received a copy of the audiobook from the narrator and am leaving an honest review.
