I absolutely enjoyed every minute of this book.

The stories were incredible. Kept me on the edge of my seat. Fast pace and beautiful. I recommend this book to any Alien fan for sure.

Uneven but mostly good

As you would expect from a collection of short stories, it's uneven. But generally I enjoyed most of them. Unfortunately it got off to an inauspicious start with "Chance Encounter", but immediately went uphill with "Broken". My 2 favorites - "Broken" and "A More Dangerous Prey" had similar themes of telling familiar stores from a different perspective. "Broken" has the added bonus of absolutely fantastic narration by (I assume?) R.C.Bray (although in truth narrating "A More Dangerous Prey" was a daunting task pulled off well). Other favorites include "Blowback", "Exterminators", "Darkness Falls" and especially "Zero to Hero". Fun listen all in all.

An enjoyable romp in the aliens world

Fun and engaging stories, different perspectives, offering different levels of thrills. All performances were quite well done.

ouch

While not the only reader with this tendency, the last was the most difficult to finish with. The long breathy overly drawn out words, especially at ends of sentences, were downright painfull. Dramatic.. no. Annoying.. massively! Think from now on I need to choose a book with a single narrator and trust the sample will show if there is a problem reader

A Great Listen

An exellent addition to the world of Aliens. The only chapter I didn't like was Chapter 8 as it felt out of place within the rest of the Aliens universe. On its own it wouldn't have been bad but it felt too disconnected from the franchise for me to fully enjoy. It didn't take away from the overall experience though.
