About this listen

No Trixikka has ever laid eyes on a female before. The first one I stumble across? She's mine.

RYNN

The Goddesses blessed me with a gift when I find a strange, wingless, tailless creature in the depths of the jungle. A female. My female is the most beautiful thing I've ever laid eyes on. Her body is so different from mine, but this only excites me. She is my mate, and we have all the time beneath the skies for her to teach me of those differences.

SERENA

I don't believe in love. But then again, up until a week or so ago, I didn't believe in aliens either. And yet here I am having been abducted, stranded on a jungle planet, and now surrounded by a tribe of huge, protective aliens with wings and tails. At least these are the good guys.

Their leader, Rynn, is convinced I'm the reason the skin on his chest is lit up like a Christmas tree, particularly the area directly above his heart. But that's just some weird alien biochemical reaction. Just like all supposed 'love', right?

Contains mature themes.

Virgin Hero alien romance!

The following ratings are out of 5:
Romance: 💜🩷💙💚
Heat/Steam: 🔥🔥🔥
Story/Plot: 📕📗📘📙
World building: 🌏🌍🌎🌏
Character development: ☹️😄😍😋
Narration: 🎙🎙🎙🎙🎙
Narration Type: Dual Narration

The heroine: Serena - she is a cam-girl who was suddenly abducted in the middle of the night by aliens. She hadn’t believed in aliens till it happened. She was mistreated by the large grey aliens that took her and other girls. They woke up and were herded roughly to an arena with the use of some sort of cattle prod like weapon. She and a bunch of other human women are auctioned off and sold in a group to an insect-like alien.

The Hero: Rynn - He is the protector chief of a large tribe of Trixikka warriors. Their tribe often make ‘seed’ offerings in life-stones to the temple goddesses who keep their females safe inside. They do whatever they can to protect the temple and keep their females and daughters safe. They hope time and time again to be received by the goddesses, and to hear that that they have fathered sons with their seed offerings. Though they mostly hear that they have fathered further daughter whom they will never see.

The Story: Serena and the other women get put onto a spaceship and they see that a bunch of other women are aboard, sleeping in pods. Metal collars are put on them, and they are held in place in their seats just watching the women in the pods. They try to plan an escape. Suddenly the ship has to set down on a nearby planet for an unscheduled stop when their captor tells them that the space police are in the area. and he needs to lay low. When they exit the ship on the hot jungle planet, the alien is eaten by some local fauna. Serena runs as far and as fast as she can, and by the time she stops, she has lost the other women and is being stalked by an alien chimp-like creature. She is saved by Rynn who has never seen a female in his entire life.

I have to admit, I wasn’t so fond of Rynn and his warriors at first. I mean the way they take for granted that the females and girl children are kept within the temple walls, and they never see them and never really get any proof that they are even as protected as they think. Frankly I thought they should storm the walls and verify the Gods were real and protect their own women in their village. The story is that they are being punished for the way their ancestors’ treated women, so they just take it. One other thing I didn’t like was the fact that they didn’t have translators implanted while they were on the alien spaceship.

I liked the fact that Rynn immediately thinks that Serena was given to him by the gods, and she is his mate. The storyline was good, though I wasn’t too fond of the fact that the warriors had never seen females before. I am not a big fan of the virgin Hero trope and in this case, Serena had to teach Rynn everything about intimate relations. I like the dominant Hero that is able to please a woman without instruction. Though Rynn did catch on pretty quickly. I also liked the storyline about finding the rest of the human females in the jungle and the fact that Rynn’s tribe had to work with another tribe to find more females.

This audiobook was told in dual points of view via dual narration and was narrated by Reagan West and Gabriel De Leon. Gabriel has a deep, smooth voice that works well for Rynn. It is sexy and expressive. Reagan West has a soft, pleasing voice and she speaks very naturally. She throws herself passionately into the role of Serena. I quite enjoyed both of them.

Good, but Slow

I did enjoy the story overall but found it slow. Not sure if I will continue the series.

Just read Ice Planet Barbarians

Sweet but slow and uncomfortably similar to Ice Planet Barbarians.
I am going to read the rest on ku as it's cute, just not worth paying for.

Cute, Fun Quick Read

This was first for me by this author. This was actually a really good storyline but it was missing action. It was also missing a lot of details. It will probably be mentioned In the other couples books but I feel like a little bit more could have been shared. Either way, it was a fun, sweet read. Beautiful virgin men who worship women and their “sacred pu-says” LOL. Narration was good, but the female narrator whispered a lot.

Female voice

It’s was ok. Female voice was basically whispering like she was reading to children the entire time. It was annoying. Enjoyed the male voice but won’t be listening to anything else narrated by Reagan West.

Boring

The female narrator whispered throughout the entire book. If she had spoken in a more normal time and whispered where it was appropriate, it would have helped it not be so boring.
The overall story arch is barely touched upon. Once contact is made with the males, sex, seed donations, sex, little story, sex is the jist of it.
I can't believe the female infants are discussed for a whole two minutes. The women don't ask appropriate questions for their circumstances. Disappointing, I will not continue.
