Publisher's summary

In the sequel to Significance, Maggie learns much more about all the strange things that have happened to her and has to face many new ones. She learns something about herself: she is something that the clans have been waiting for.

She rebels against it, but ultimately must face it for her new family's sake and maybe even her life. Bish went from being her biggest supporter to her biggest pain in the butt and Kyle's intentions to attract her interest may not be so innocent.

Caleb and Maggie face many new obstacles together as a couple and on their own. They fight to work through these difficulties, but will one of them be too much for Maggie to handle? Will she become who she has to be to save the ones she loves or will she crumble under the pressure?

Really liked this series so far!

As I said, this series is really very good. A little more geared towards the young people, however, I'm 54 and thought it was excellent. The only exception to this though is her stupid brother and Kyle. OH. MY. GOSH!! I so wanted to soccer punch them in the face and even her dad as well. Not sure while the author prolonged the stupidity jealous, overbearing guys around her (with the exception of Caleb) but, and this is my honest opinion....that ruined the story for me. Loved everything else though!! The only cussing in these first two books are hell and ass if you want to say that's cussing. I don't but some parents might not want their younger kids to read this. There is no sex, but......they mention it many times around friends and Kyle hooks up with a girl in California briefly. Caleb and Maggie do have some makeout sessions and they are hot!! But no sex because theyare always interrupted!!! Wish there was but oh well. That what you get for a younger adult book. I also really enjoyed how Caleb and Maggie weren't forced to separate by way of another love interest or ex girlfriend or boyfriend. This is a rare occurrence that I find endearing. No love triangle!

Solid Book #2 for Significance Series

Would you listen to Accordance again? Why?

Yes. I enjoy reliving a good book series. The story and narration of this book are done fairly well.

What did you like best about this story?

Maggie's first vision. It is broad in scope and sweeps through time, yet is specific and focused enough to become the road map to the Vituoso's future.

Which character – as performed by Cris Dukehart – was your favorite?

I really enjoy the way that Dukehart brings Maggie's character to life. I also enjoy Dukehart's portrayal of Caleb. However, the character to whom she brings the most fun, must be Becca.

Was there a moment in the book that particularly moved you?

The completely tragic plot development that unveils Bish and Jenn as starcrossed.

Any additional comments?

This series is, thus far, quite enjoyable. This book has a couple of weaker plot elements, but the book is good regardless.

Fantastic Series!! Must Read

I have away loved Shelley Crane books!
I first read on my Kindle but when I downloaded audible I immediately downloaded the first two books and I absolutely am so happy with my purchase it's so much nicer to be able to listen to the story then read it you really get a true sense of what's going on and I can get so into this book and feel all the emotions that the characters are feeling it is such a good book it's such a good series and just in general if you get a chance to read this you should do it it's it's such a good love story and it's got such twist and turns in it that you're always not sure what's going to happen next!

Some good, some big plot holes

Some things don't make sense. They just stuck in something about a council, and it being why the bad guys can't be killed outright, but there is no evidence of this council or any sort of law enforcement from them. The parents are loving but don't always seem the brightest as they let their kids wander about unprotected. Bish is still angry throughout the book. The cousin Kyle (?) stays jealous and makes the same comments. Rinse and repeat. The narration is good, though, and that helps. I feel like there is a lot of repetition, and the story doesn't move forward until the end. The new character, Lynn, is really interesting, but Jen and Bish make no sense. Why decide that the vision means they can't be together? Obviously, it means someone is after them, too, so the focus should be on the bad guys.
