Brilliant

This book was engaging from the very first sentences. The characters were enjoyable to get to know. It was a very well written story and although towards the end it became a bit slow moving where the descriptive twist was to be revealed, it at least allowed me to decipher what was forthcoming before it being finally revealed.

overall regardless of the final chapters dragging out, ultimately it allowed for a definitive closure, which was nice to hear and feel. I enjoyed it hence giving it five stars all around.

Worth the read

I enjoyed this book even though I figured out the accomplice by chapter 3. I liked that the narrators changed based on the gender.

Enjoyed this book!

This book was well written. The story line was different and it had my attention until the end! Very interesting story and I loved the characters. Narration was good making characters come alive, which is always a plus.

not sure I will make it thru this book

the male narrator sounds like he is trying to imitate William Shatner and I don't think I can take it.

There was no twist

It was obvious early on. It’s like when a first date tells you that he is a good kisser. You can bet your good night kiss will be bad. Don’t tell us it comes with a twist.

So sad but good

I enjoyed this book. It was realistic, well written and good characters. Such a devastating life for the family and child who was taken. I can't imagine the emotional damage to everyone in the family. Nice twist and good ending.
