Understand that special diet can be very helpful for individuals with ADHD

Don't treat the symptoms only but get to the root of the cause!

Sadly, many people think that individuals who suffer from mental disorders such as ADHD, ADD, anxiety, and depression are something has to do with the mind or the brain regarding psychological illness only.

However, many scientists and doctors who think "outside the box" firmly believe now that there are physiological factors which contribute to behavior problems like ADHD and ADD. You need to understand that children and adults who struggle with mental disorders very likely have issues physically and the principal suspect is the digestive system.

And food quality can be the primary cause of digestive problems which lead to mental disorders ultimately.

In the ADHD Diet book you will:

  • Learn how ADHD disorder is as much as physical as mental
  • Realize why ADHD Diet can help significantly
  • Understand the ADHD symptoms so you can start evaluating your diet and correct it with the help of my book
  • Have a better understanding that the sooner you recognize the symptoms the better for helping ADHD Children
  • Discover the remedies for ADHD without drugs
  • Appreciate how real foods and how ADHD Diet can be helpful not only to ADHD children but ADHD adults too

I'm highly recommending it.

It’s so difficult to find books that are able to tie all the information about ADHD into a single book and make it work. I love how the book focuses on all of the concerns of someone with ADHD or a child with ADHD. I don’t think I will find anything else to top this book and I recommend everyone buy this if they want to know about ADHD and the dietary ideas.

With inclusive list of possible treatments.

I can’t say I’m overly impressed with this book for a few reasons. First, it is largely concerned with diagnosing, which is not something that can be self-diagnosed. Seeing a doctor if you wonder about your health is the first thing that should be done—not self-diagnostics. Also, there is simply not much in the way of ADHD dietary information. I was expecting the entire book to be comprised of that information, but I was wrong. If you want a book all about ADHD with an inclusive list of possible treatment ideas, this is for you. If you want strictly dietary ideas, I do not recommend.

Pretty good.

Until this book, I wasn’t aware so many things can influence mental illnesses in food. I wish there were more food examples or nutrition info in this book, though. There was so much on ADHD, but there was only a chapter on the nutrition itself, which was a bit disappointing. The rest of the information made up for it though.

This was a great book and it had a lot of info.

There was also a lack of recipe ideas and non-scientific dietary info. For example, the information from the nutritionist doesn’t do me well when I am not acquainted with nutrition to start. All the information on ADHD was pretty great and reliable, though!

Short and Sweet, but makes me want to know more

Having read this, I now want to know more about how to start the diet. It does give a breakdown of the diet at the end, but I am going to need to know more than just a list of foods to get started. A good intro to the GAPS diet.

Simple and informative

This a great book if you're looking for a natural treatment for ADHD. It's simplified, and direct you to the right sources. I think it's a good prequel or introduction for the GAPS book.

I enjoyed listening to this production very much.

I love how everything is introduced before the primary book itself starts! I was skeptical when hearing the speed at which the information was read in the beginning, but once chapter one came about, it was much more understandable. And the dietary recommendations are unique and interesting.

a lot of surface info.

I learned a lot, but found it hard to understand. The hour book took 4+ hours with the research I had to do outside of the book. For a book that introduces a bunch of concepts and ideas it’s good, but I bout the audiobook because I didn’t have much time for independent research on the topic. There is a lot of surface info though.

Great overview of how food can help ADHD.

I was not interested in knowing about ADHD itself, but gained some valuable info on a specific recipe plan. I wish there was more dietary stuff like the book was supposed to have, but I see why it wasn’t all dietary.
