About this listen
With Nan's help he overcame many challenges but his greatest and most dangerous challenge was fighting and defeating a gang of slavers. He realized that one victory was not the end of the issue and his goal became permanently ending this evil organization that threatened the very survival of the fragile remnants of humanity. In order to accomplish this he would have to fully realize his potential and maximize his abilities while pursuing the slavers to their headquarters.
The post-apocalyptic devastation left by WWIII had resulted in an environment radically changed by nuclear, chemical and biological warfare. The dangers were many, and varied from mutated animals to human psychopaths. With the help of Nan and a young, genetically mutated wolf dog he named Roe would he be able to face and conquer the many life-threatening situations on his quest?

Story
Ryland Grace is the sole survivor on a desperate, last-chance mission - and if he fails, humanity and the Earth itself will perish. Except that right now, he doesn't know that. He can't even remember his own name, let alone the nature of his assignment or how to complete it. All he knows is that he's been asleep for a very, very long time. And he's just been awakened to find himself millions of miles from home, with nothing but two corpses for company.

Story
It’s 1984, and life has changed beyond recognition. Airstrip One, formerly known as Great Britain, is a place where Big Brother is always watching, and nobody can hide. Except, perhaps, for Winston Smith. Whilst working at the Ministry of Truth, rewriting history, he secretly dreams of freedom. And in a world where love and sex are forbidden, where it’s hard to distinguish between friend and foe, he meets Julia and O’Brien and vows to rebel.

Six days ago, astronaut Mark Watney became one of the first people to walk on Mars. Now, he's sure he'll be the first person to die there. After a dust storm nearly kills him and forces his crew to evacuate while thinking him dead, Mark finds himself stranded and completely alone with no way to even signal Earth that he’s alive - and even if he could get word out, his supplies would be gone long before a rescue could arrive. Story
Jazz Bashara is a criminal. Well, sort of. Life on Artemis, the first and only city on the moon, is tough if you're not a rich tourist or an eccentric billionaire. So smuggling in the occasional harmless bit of contraband barely counts, right? Not when you've got debts to pay and your job as a porter barely covers the rent. Everything changes when Jazz sees the chance to commit the perfect crime, with a reward too lucrative to turn down.

Story
Ashley Perrin is fresh out of college and starting a job as a community liaison for the Third District–the city’s only sector with more alien residents than humans. Ashley’s barely found where the paper clips are kept when she’s beset with constituent complaints–from too much noise at the Annual Lupidian Celebration Parade to a trip-and-fall chicken to a very particular type of alien hornet that threatens the very city itself. And if that’s not terrifying enough, Ashley is next up at the office karaoke night.

Story
Life in the rugged Appalachian Mountains of the 1860s was brutal but life in those treacherous hills had never been easy. A tough life breeds hardy people and the mountain people were as unforgiving and fierce as the mountains themselves. The old ways ran strong in their blood and hatred ran bone deep. Feuds were a part of life. The Robertson clan was a small but proud family. When a cherished member was needlessly shot down the grief-stricken Robertsons went to war against the family of her killers. The feud dragged on for years but their enemies were far too numerous. Fourteen year old ...

Story
Dr. Adam Markham was diagnosed with an incurable cancer. He only had a few months to live when he was offered the opportunity to participate in a scientific study being conducted by a top research company. If the study was a success he would be cured of his cancer and his body would approach genetic perfection. If unsuccessful he would die. He felt it was worth the risk since he would die in a few months anyway. What he didn't expect is that the suspended animation would last for years. When he awakened he was cured of his cancer and thanks to genetic engineering had been gifted with ...

Life was looking up for the Blackwood family. Baird’s knowledge had allowed them to claw their way out of a soul sucking mire of poverty. What should have been a bright future full of endless possibilities suddenly became one of unease and fear. Despite their new wealth and their steadily increasing strength they were forced to acknowledge the appearance of what might herald an unbeatable enemy. As a family the Blackwoods decided that their only recourse was to grow so powerful that no potential enemy would ever be able to threaten them. That meant increasing all aspects of their strength...

Following a life of suffering and unbearable pain an old man died with his heart full of grievances. He eagerly welcomed death, anticipating the relief it would bring. Instead he discovered that the afterlife was not what he had imagined it to be. Rather than the total annihilation he expected, he entered the river of souls. Instead of obliteration, his death gave him a chance to relive his life and amend the mistakes that had haunted him. Baird’s soul transmigrated to the body of his younger self and he found that the world of his previous childhood was more enigmatic and dangerous than ...
