About this listen

What’s the actual last thing you’d ever want your celebrity crush to see you doing when you finally come face-to-excruciatingly-handsome-face with him? Singing and dancing around by yourself to “Dreams” by The Cranberries while drinking straight from a bottle of champagne? While you’re wearing some wedding gown you just found in a closet? Yeah. Me too.

And yet, here we are.

At a mountain cabin I was sent to by the awfully pretty actress/pretty awful human I work for to get things ready for her romantic New Year’s Eve getaway with him. That’s not even the worst thing about the way I meet Holden Archer. The actress has been paying me to have textual relations with him, pretending to be her—and she doesn’t even like him!

Is it terrible that a snowstorm prevents us from leaving and the actress from getting here? Neither Holden nor I think so. Because it turns out our connection goes back a lot further than those texts. And just like in all my favorite romantic comedies, it’s what got us here that is the most amazing part of the story.

Will my lack of experience cause me to freeze up when we go from inbox to in person? Or will a dreamy movie star melt my inhibitions and make all my secret New Year wishes come true?

Piper gets her HEA!!!

This book and audio was so good!! I think it’s edged Bossy Christmas out as my favorite of this series. Piper is so adorable and Holden is so swoony! And the return of the rest of the Holiday guys for another night out was epic! Classic Kayley comedy!

Erin Mallon & Jason Clarke were absolutely perfect as Piper and Holden (and other characters)! I loved Connor Crais’ cameo’s, too!

The HEA to end all HEAs!

A Very Snowed in New Year is the perfect culmination of Kayley Loring’s Very Holiday series. Piper, first introduced in A Very Bossy Christmas, is as fabulous as ever—a self-proclaimed hopeful romantic who adores love and of course butts! This story is pure fluff and joy, with Piper trying to find her own dreamy happily-ever-after with Holden. If you’ve followed this series, this book is the ultimate feel-good finale!

Erin Mallon, Jason Clarke and Connor Crais are absolutely wonderful in this ridiculously amazing audiobook!
ALL HAIL KAYLEY LORING! THE QUEEN OF A VERY HEA!

Obsessed with this audiobook!

Obsessed! A Very Snowed in New Year by Kayley Loring was a sweet and swoony romance that left my heart feeling all warm and cozy inside. I’ve been anticipating and so excited for Piper’s romance, and of course Kayley delivered with all her hilarious sass, witty banter, and loveable charm. Piper and Holden may just be my favorite couple out of the whole Very Holiday Series. (Shhh. Don’t tell the other fellas.) Plus, experiencing this book in audio is an absolute MUST LISTEN.

Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke along with Connor Crais perform this audiobook in duet-style narration. All three narrators’ performances exuded so much JOY and made this audiobook an entertaining delight to listen to. Erin’s lively, vibrant voice exemplified all things Piper showcasing her passionate heart, quick wit, and boldness to go after what she desired. (Yes, lady!) Jason’s signature growly tone matched Holden’s dreamy dedication and devotion to love, cherish, and satisfy Piper in every single way. (Swoon!) Plus, the addition of Connor voicing all of the past Very Holiday series heroes along with a few raspy surprises made his performance extra laughable and lovable. I simply couldn’t get enough of their performances. I’m obsessed!

Overall, I LOVED this book. If you are a fan of a new adult romance with a hot hunky movie star, a feisty passionate writer, fan fiction journals, NYC cabs, book recs, witty text banter, meet cute misconnections, secret identity, journal guy, personal assistant jobs, wishing walls confessions, Big Bear Lake, cozy cabins, coming clean, steamy first times, new year kisses, holiday couple cameos, love declarations, new job opportunities, and a HEA that make dreams come true, then you will love Piper and Holden’s story. I always look forward to more from Kayley Loring.

Just phenomenal...

Piper gets her HEA!!!!!!!!
I was equally thrilled and sad that we would finally get Piper's story. I have been watching her grown since her hilarious and endearing first appearance in  A Very Bossy Christmas and she's become like a little niece you want to root for but also protect.
I also knew that she was in the safest hands with the woman who created her and Kayley didn't disappoint. Piper is a lover of all things romance (and butts!!) , especially rom coms and this book is an ode to all of those stories Piper loves so much. Kayley channeled Nora Ephron (the GOAT of rom coms) and Garry Marshall and added the Kayley mojo we all love so much.
All the little details fit: the "meant to be but not yet" moments, the snowed in moment, the girl gets THE boy moment... All swoon worthy and perfect.
Holden Archer is tailored for our girl - he put all her celebrity crushes to shame. Kayley gave her the man she wanted, but mostly the man she deserved. He even got the approval from "the guys"! IYKYK
This book made me feel 22 again, with the protective dad, the butterflies of first and everlasting love, and it left me with a permanent grin on my face. It is so perfect that it  proves that you do not need that dreaded third act break up. Just saying. Authors, take note!
Now the best part? I was not ready to say goodbye ... and I don't have to! You'll see!
5 peaches and a million stars. Poop's (darn autocorrect! LOL) book is a home run!
11 out 10, no notes.
Narrated by Erin Mallon and Jason Clarke with special appearance by Connor Crais, this audiobook made it all… magical! Jason Clarke embodies everything in Piper’s hero and his “Baby” makes you swoon sooooo much. Connor is adorable in all the familiar voices he brings, but especially when Daddy Crais comes to play when he voices Piper’s protective Southern Dad. The real MVP here is Erin Mallon, though. I was unfoundedly worried about anyone who would give our little girl a voice, but Erin is PERFECT. She IS Piper - vibrant, funny, a little insecure but sassy… And she nails all the other women in this audiobook too (her Sloane had me cackling!). It is a wonderful book and it got a phenomenal audio version!

Erin & Jason are perfect for Piper & Holden!

This audiobook was an absolute delight! Kayley Loring brought all the funnies. Erin rocked it not only as Piper but as her mom and as Shay. Jason was so good as Holden, obsessed hero and awesome big brother. And Connor killed it as all the side characters!

I loved the cameos from all the other books! They just added to the greatness!!!

Narration was perfection! Jason and Erin really brought this to life and then add in Connor to cover some of our favorite guys and this was a master piece!!!!

Best romcom of the year!

I am still laughing out loud and loving Kayley Loring! She knows exactly what I love to listen to, and this book with these characters is it! Piper has been a favorite character of mine, and watching her sass and brilliance as she grows up had me wanting to hear her story. Now that I have had the chance to hear her romance with Holden, I am obsessed! This is not your typical holiday romance. It's smart, and swoony. I love Piper's cleverness and her honest heart. Holden is incredibly attractive both inside and out. Every time period and every scene is not only funny but had me laughing out loud and made my heart full. Plus getting to hang with some of the others in this series just made it like coming home. It's got me looking forward to the New Year!

Erin Mallon. Oh my what a performance. Every character she pulls out was perfect. She made me love and laugh! Jason Clarke. He is romantic and swoony as Holden. Every scene, he had fantastic voices for the men, and made the story fly by. And Connor Crais. Always a joy, he had me laughing as he pulled out previous characters. This isn't to mention the singing. And that is all I will say about it! The narration just took this incredible story up a notch and made it my favorite comedy of the year.
