About this listen

Standing beside my best friend, in front of family and friends, as she proclaims her love to her future husband, my mind should be on her. As maid of honor, I should be attentive and helpful. I’m trying.

The problem is the man in the second row - her soon-to-be brother-in-law.

Trevor Willis is sweet and sexy, with green eyes that hold my attention as well as my secrets. For example: How can his smile make my heart beat faster? Why does his laugh turn my insides to jelly? What is he thinking as his stare heats my skin? And most importantly, how did I end up waking in his hotel-suite bed on the morning of my best friend’s wedding to his brother?

Cute and Funny Prequel!

After listening to this quick, entertaining story, it only made me want Another One! Pun intended! In 44 short minutes, Aleatha Romig made me totally fall for Shana Price and Trevor Willis. Their sweet and awkward meeting was hilarious, and I loved how the events were told in flashback sequence. They want to keep Their night together a secret so the focus can be on the bride and groom but I was cheering for so much more. Ava Erickson did a great job embodying these characters and setting the stage for all the fun and excitement. I love having this backstory and know it will only make listening to Another One even better!

Do something better with your time

Unfortunately book left me sitting on end of my seat. Not because it had my attention but because I was waiting for it to define the plot. I kept waiting for this Union to have a meaning. not a winner in my book.

Too short!

This is a great teaser for a story with a lot of potential! I would be very interested in reading the rest of the story.

A welcome, light relief

I would have to say that this book gave me a change of heart after reading a dark romance from this author. While I have no problems with the way she writes and all, the ending of the first book I read from her left me with unsettling feelings I did not bother looking into her backlist, thinking that most of her books would fall under the dark romance category. And I would have to say my desperation to finish my reading challenge on time made me consider her again as I see that this novella would help me with my plight thanks to its length. And truly, that's what it did. However, I would have to say that this is a prequel of sorts and that the ending leans more toward the HFN variety. Nonetheless, this intrigued me, and now I want to know how things go for these two afterward.

quick prequel that makes you want more

This novella is the prequel to Another One and makes you want to read more about these characters to find out if they get an HEA. Great narration.
