Publisher's summary

Sedition is just the beginning....

TIimely and powerfully thought-provoking, A Political Conspiracy finds best-selling author Tom Abrahams (The Traveler series) return to his roots with this breathtaking novel that brilliantly unpacks a vast, global conspiracy to alter the balance of power.

Book 1: Sedition

The president of the United States is dead. There is no vice president to take his place.

As the nation slips into a constitutional crisis, a small, secretive group conspires to violently seize power.

They have the will. They have someone on the inside. And they have the explosives.

Standing in their way is a woman who knows their intentions. Can she stop them in time? If she does, will it matter?

Book 2: Intention

A hip-hop star is murdered.

A notorious terrorist is freed from custody.

An assassin weaves his way across Europe, setting the stage for a global catastrophe.

All of them work in the shadows of an ancient organization bent on changing the course of history.

Can a woman whose demons have consumed her, rid herself of the pain in time to stop them?

Great Series

Tom . Is one of the best authors out there. He has such style and detail that it really pulls you into the book. Got to wonder where he gets all this experience from? Almost like he's been in the intelligence world and writing from experience.

Tom Abrahams and Kevin Pierce

Tom Abrahams and Kevin Pierce are two of the best. Not really into the political genre, too much of that in real life. But this was a good listen. More of a post apocalyptic type.

Great story with strong characters. Twisting until the end. Of course Kevin Pierce is an awesome narrator. You won't be disappointed.

Hmmmm. where would I be?

Loved the complexity. Loved the story line and character build.. most of all I love how this story sheds light on the possible/probable actions of secret organizations that really control things. What remains is the only thing we have control of.. our own actions and beliefs. Doing the right thing always will prevail.

Ok

I had high hopes. I have enjoyed his other work, and the fact that Kevin Pierce was involved excited me. Unfortunately, the wheels came off the bus pretty quickly. The characters' decisions made absolutely no sense. I don’t want to give any spoilers to the actual miss-steps because some people might enjoy this. I would have hoped the editor would’ve caught these problems and perhaps guided the story into something believable.
