About this listen

Maximus Drago is out searching for supplies for his mother when he ends up in a fight for his life.

Injured, he ends up saving a legendary creature, then bonds with it. After he heals, he has no idea of what life has for him, but fate has decided on what he has to become.

This book has harem elements/unconventional relationships, sexual content and cursing. It is intended for mature listeners. The MC ends up being over powered, but who doesn't like a badass, right?

Male voices I mostly could tolerate, but female voices sound like helium and alcohol were being used by the narrator.
I could only listen to it a 1/3 of the way thru before it became to unbearable
I actually enjoyed the book so went back reread it instead of listening to anymore

Terrible narration

its a good story about a chosen one that progressively gets more OP as the story goes.

There is a bit of repetitive filler, no stats or such but the retelling of actions was slightly repetitive. But if you zone out on one part you won't miss anything that way.

the voice acting was solid. though the caricatures could have been a touch more mature sounding.
a good change of pace from other books in that way.

I say pick it up its a good way to spend a couple hours.

I liked it. you may as well.

Been waiting for this audiobook for awhile and didn't disappoint but i did find some of the female voices a little annoying and cringy but at the end it didn't rake away from the story and i can't wait for the next one!

Awesome!

Their are problems I have with this book, there are Inconsistencies that make certain things wrong. 1st off I don't have a problem with overcoming the traumatic events like what happened to his lion wife I do however find it strange that she allowed him to be sexually assaulted in his sleep and also Participated in the action. After she had gone through being someone's plaything for a year I would think she wouldn't allow that to happen to the man who saved her loved and guided her through the trauma that she's was forced to endure. Simply to Write this off as as just sexy fun and not that serious to a person like Max Who doesn't let anyone do anything he doesn't like or agree with regardless of who they are kind of minimalizes his character.

Making Valencia's character unbothered and agreeable to the act of letting her man be raped in his sleep by women who weren't apart of his family and even participating in the act makes what she went through seem more or less meaningless. There are certainly ways to handle sex scenes with characters but this wasn't the way to do it.

I have a problem with this

I am well aware there was to be romance in the book, the romance itself wasn't the issue. The story was developing well and then boom start the harem immediately and make the nasty happen. it was as subtle as a knife in the back. The worse part is one of them was basically dealing with rape trauma and sleeps with the MC in a few days. There is no reason for everyone to be in love within a week. Other than that The MC is cool and the story is entertaining.

I was enjoying it until the MC started the Romance

I like the book I like the cast but you read it once the seen were max was use while in coma he should a been more upset about it and I agree with one comment where vic should of not let it happen at all because she went through something like that and it scarred her and then she and the rest of the girls are going to do that to me there no love if vic an char really car for him the would of thought about his health and made not let him be alone you do go near a ware mate when there are down and can find for there self so vic would have been guarding him and making sure he got better an one last redundance is it one the to wake your partner up with sex and they are ware
but is not when the In a coma and mack it should of been a big argument about it he should of chew them out

good book but had a problem
