Publisher's summary

Streetwise Kim Crosley doesn't know what to make of Kit Laurence's attitude. Half the time the ex-soccer champ acts like a pygmalion, trying to turn the sow's ear who's a rent boy into a silk purse...then, occasionally, he allows true affection to show through his puzzling attitude. Kim is determined to break down the walls and force the real Kit to emerge. In the meantime, he's fighting chauffeur Devlin's prejudice by trying to show he loves the man and not his money. A devastating illness offers Kim a chance to prove once and for all how he feels...if Kit survives.

More secrets are revealed!

Confessions is book 2, in the series, A Meeting in the Dark by Tony-Paul de Vissage narrated by Tobias Milo Zeus. This narrator has an interesting interpretation of each character's voice. It takes a bit of getting used to it, but I'm enjoying the series enough to keep listening.

More drama occurs. Will Kit and Kim ever get together? Devlin really got on my last nerve in this story. Sweet Tobias gets a surprise.

I can't wait to listen to the next book in the series to see what happens. This book, like book 1, also ends on a bit of a cliff hanger so be warned.

Need more!

Just... wow!
I'm invested now! Can't wait to start the 3rd book of this story.
After a bit of struggling with his accent on the first book, I finally fell in love with this narrator. He has such a nice and charismatic voice.
I hope Kim and Kit will finally get their HEA in the next book. Their struggles are real..!
What to say of Devlin? He better change his attitude right now, before I'm starting a fire in his car!!!

Really Enjoying this Series

I listened to the entire book in one sitting.
Kit and Kim divulged secrets from their past. There were surprises that will change their lives - hopefully for the better. Like the first book, this one ended in a cliffhanger which only makes me want to start book 3 sooner.

I am now used to the British accent.  There were a few small sections where I couldn't understand some "offscreen" remarks.  Otherwise Tobias does a great job narrating this book too.

On to book 3 - "Together" - and the conclusion of this wonderful series.
