About this listen
Milton Cauley had tried marriage, and it didn’t work out so well. Now a widower, he has no intention of ever marrying again. He’ll devote his time to being the best barber he can be. But a misguided friend orders him a bride from the matchmaker others in Pinyon Falls have used, and Milton is furious. As far as Milton is concerned, the man can just handle the problem himself since he’s responsible for it.

Christian Historical Romance
Every book of Janice's just gets better and better! This is definitely my FAVORITE!! I loved the slow progression from I don't ever want to marry again, to I can't imagine my life without you! I also LOVE the two narrators together! it feels so much more realistic like a movie! Absolutely wonderful!

Sweet Mail-Order Bride
Milton doesn't want to get married again. His best friend wants him to be as happy as he and his wife are, so he sends fit a mail-order bride for Milton.
This story has great characters and plenty of twists to keep you interested. I really enjoyed it.

Inspiration!
This mail order bride had a great lesson in the story. Two people that had lost their first spouse and God played a big part in the success of finding a new love. The narrators were great and helped me enjoy the book.

Is it a match?
Agatha is back, and now is sending Milton a bride. Did he order one? No, but a good friend thinks he should have the happiness he found with his! Now what will Milton do? After losing his wife, he didn't want to get married again. Lauren too has lost her spouse several years ago and is ready to start over. Now she is catching the eye of more than just Milton and she has to decide what to do with her life. Will she choose someone else? In true Janice Cole Hopkins fashion, she pulls me into this story, and just when I think I know what is going to happen, she throws a thread of suspense in that I don't expect! It adds depth and excitement to this love story and created a fabulous listen!
Douglas Birk and EJ Lavery are perfect for this narration, and their combined performance kept the love growing and suspense building. I love these two, and love how they create the characters and make me feel like I am right there as the story is unfolding. They are wonderful.

When his friend sends for a mail order bride for him, without his knowledge, he is so mad. Lauren arrives and is upset her intended doesn’t want to marry her. Well, she will just go on with her new life. She wasn’t going back to her old home. Trouble starts to arrive on their doorstep. Let’s see what happens next.
I was given a copy of the book by the author for an honest review.
