Publisher's summary

Mitford's village rector, Father Tim, is running scared. He can no longer deny (even to himself), that he's in love with his neighbor, Cynthia Coppersmith. Cynthia, after all, sees in him a man of warmth and daring, if only he'll meet her halfway. But now a wealthy widow is pursuing Father Tim with hot casseroles. And the mysterious Cousin Meg has moved into the rectory bag and baggage, not to mention uninvited. Abounding with characters both old and new, A Light in the Window will compel you to laugh out loud.
Don't miss out on the rest of Father Tim's adventures in Mitford.

From The Author’s Lips

I have loved Jan Karon’s books since they first appeared in my local bookstore and have listened to many on Audible. I was not prepared to appreciate this version as much as I did. Hearing the author’s inflections as she spoke each character’s lines gave a new perspective of how she heard them speak when she created them. A thoroughly enjoyable experience.

Book review

While i enjoyed this 2nd novel in the Mitford series the romance between Father Tim & Cynthia was a little slow. This story line wasn't as interesting as the 1st novel.

Must be abridged

Having enjoyed volume one of the Mitford series, this one seemed badly written, predictable and seemed to be over in a flash. It was when I saw a copy in a bookstore the next week that I realized this must have been a (badly) abridged version. very disappointing.
