About this listen

Fae can’t lie.

That’s the golden rule woven into the people of Elphyne, but for deaf Elf Guardian Aeron, he knows this isn’t true. Lies are told between the lines, in misdirection, and in false hope.

When he turns up at the Spring Court with his newfound, broken human mate in his arms, he learns the most cruelest lie of all. He is not who he thought he was. His whole life has been orchestrated, even this new love burgeoning in his heart for a human enemy with more secrets than his own.

Learning to trust and accept is hard for both of them, but with civil war on their doorstep, fae plotting to take them down, and the taint on the Well growing more dangerous, they have no choice but to try. Trust can only be found if they start from within.

Only then, will they know where their true enemies lie....

Each interlinked trilogy features a different breed of fae. Each book features a different couple with a satisfying HEA. Start at the beginning for the best listening experience, or start at your favorite trilogy.

Two broken souls finding their strength in each other

It was disappointing that Tinker was the one who created the man made portals from the Guardians Mana. Even tho she redeemed herself thru her love for Aeron there was still the stigma that tainted her character. Aeron and Tinker's love story was epic and their relationship helped heal each other and they discovered that neither was as broken but made them stronger- two sides of the same coin.
I have my favorite and least favorite characters of this series and I have to say this is by far is one of my favorites.
I've read and listened to this whole series and long for more.

Good story, uneven narration

The male narrator did a good job, the female narrator not so much. Her narration was frequently exaggerated and unnatural, and I really disliked how she voiced the deaf MMC’s lines. The story itself was interesting and important in light of the overarching plot of the series.

Interesting story line

Not crazy about the performance but liked the story. I love how the plot just continues to thicken as series continues

One of the best fantasy romance novels

The is book 2 in the season of the elf but book 8 in the Fea Guardians series. I love going to this world and this book didn’t disappoint. I loved how the author has made the main male character is def getting to see how he learns to speak in a completely different way then others was so cool it has got me think I may want to learn sign language. I also how the author uses plastic and metal as something that hinders the magic system, and the entire backstory of the Fay guardian series. If you have not read any of these book I hight recommend doing so like now! 😉

love the story!!

I really enjoyed the story and Arron's growth. Not the biggest fan of the female narrator in this role, her English accent seemed forced at times.

Can't wait for the next installment!! Things are getting really crazy.
