Bronco Slade and Abby Malone loved to hike—get away from people and trek alone in the rugged mountains of East Tennessee. But nature was interrupted with a different type of death. The man lay at the bottom of a dangerous drop-off at the edge of the trail the two hikers were on. Another victim of sloppy trail hiking.

The sheriff and medical examiner look at the body and quickly label it as an accidental fall. However, the man’s wife knows it was no accident and urges Bronco and Abby to investigate the death.

Join Bronco and Abby as they happen upon the popular Olympic gold medalist’s body and get pulled into a dangerous game of “whodunit.” Go with them as they discover the dark side of what is lurking in the rugged mountains.
